what is the best working firmware to use ???

is there a way to manualy set the speeds direct to each device bandwidth alocation the software on the xr500 was easy to use compared to this i have updated to the early access seems like i am getting same speeds now as with the xr500 was there a pppoe fix in that update

thanks for the add i will play about with this a dont want to use the ee router will sort somthing out whats vlan would that help with anything ?

i never had to do this with my xr500 had it conected to pppoe with great speeds whats changed

i conect to the ont through pppoe with the login as if it was a ee router and its fibre is that not better than using 2 routers ?

hi its pluged into the ont it is with ee but i never use there router the 900 down and 115 up to the speeds which i did on my xr500 i turned smart boost off and speed went up a bit all my devices are hard wiered i tested on fast speed test and okla i havent set the qos yet with optimiser as it would lower my speeds i only got the router a couple of days ago so i dont hink i have it set up to its full potential thanks for your help again fraser

hi i have just got this router the r3 but for some reason i am not geting over 300 meg i have 900 from ee i have reset the router again to start from scratch

am geting a different router to rid myself of this problematic router a can't be bothered with this hassle it really is the worst router disconnecting from the Internet having to reset it to get online worst beta ever o wonder it never got a release by netgear with all the problems the ee router works better

no it's the in the x box network test nothing to do with the game the network test on the x box normally sits at 960 Meg download 115 upload ping 18ms but when the geolocation is on its same speeds but the ping is over 200 ms this would impact on gameplay if the console itself has a ping over 200 but with no geolocation on its at 18 ms

this router while in the geolocation on to the uk is setting the x box at 180 to 200 Ms which is causeing problems with rendering as it loads from online extreamly lagy games of cod even though it says 13 Ms on every game the other isp router works fine but without the qos which I want to use can you tell me why it makes my xbox when i run a test with geo it's 200ms and when it's off its 20ms and tell me how this would not impact lag in the game if that's what your going to say .???

hi I have reset it again to the 134 original version with a reset from back of router for 30 seconds waited 4 minutes then set it up but getting the same no such file or directory I can vidio me doing this process and post it with device manager not showing correctly and can't log in with ip again lol just want the original os on it but seems I am stuck with the beta this was a totally fresh install and then was reset when it was installed held for 30 seconds with pin then set back up am I doing this wrong ?

hi now I am getting this this was a new install and reset its rc 10 it says to switch to PC but doesn't I will try another browser and let you know just seems something has went totally wrong with the xr500

and add blocker is working again with rc10 what's going on with this router lol I bet if I resync the ad blocker it will stop working

v2.3.2.134 official from netgear for the xr500 only let's me log with the router index still I have put the beta back on to see if it works intermediary then rc 10 just to see if it works and now it let's me log in with the ip is there something about after upgrading to betta then downgrading I will try this again when I have time but it's strange it works when back to beta rc10 also noticed in the device manager there was nothing in the device table I should have took a picture but it's working now

I have already downgraded it to the last official software but now can only log in through the index I tried that routerlogin.net same as the ip address no such file or directory

hi frazer I have reinstalled the normall software now can't log in with the ip address no such file or directory but can get in through the index any idea how to fix this had enough of the betta for now just want to run the normally software for now also I never seen bo6 on the geo location ping just mw3

having to reset this router again for some reason it would not let me into my tv apps would not load the devices which disconnected to each ip address which is strange so put in the ee router and apps work what's going on with this router think I just need to upgrade when I got the cash I disabled the qos and the geo filter to see if it was that I also tried the ad blocker but still did not work is this router being hacked or something just constant strange behaviour with it keep having toneither turn off and back on or reset it sorry to keep annoying you with this I know it can be annoying

its the network test on the x box the add blocker used to work with all my devices but now it doesn't block anything any more after I resync it it worked when I reflashed the router with first intermediate software then rc10 then stopped after resync it did work but now nothing

yes got that to work but it increases the latency on my x box to over 200 still can't get the add blocker to stop any adds on some apps on my phone and tv it used to block them bit now I'd doesn't

it doesn't find the uk server as showen in the ping heat map only irish 1 and players it will sometimes find it and conect only reason I know is the ping will be 11 to 13
