  1. If there is ever a beta firmware with AP mode, I would be more than happy to test it out.
  2. Hi Team, My Netduma R2 has been at the centre of my network, as a PPPoE router since I bought it, now that I have commited to TP LINKER605 Dual Wan router, i was looking up for literature to configure it into AP mode to reuse it as an access point. Seems like AP mode is not supported, how is that a thing in 2024 ? My $10 ISP router supports it. Any plans to add support in a future firmware release ?
  3. Hi Fraser, Thanks for the response I tried it another time, this time I did not let go of the reset button for 3 mins, released it, went away for a bite, came back and it was indeed reset with the Default SSID broadcasting. So the issue stands resolved. Altought, i would recommend that a visual indication in the LED when a reset is successfully registered would be a nice feature. Most routers have it
  4. Hi Team, I followed the article https://support.netduma.com/support/solutions/articles/16000129962-how-to-factory-reset-your-dumaos-powered-router to hard reset my Netduma R2, but it never seems to work, no default SSIDs are presented and LAN does not work. I even gave it more time than the article recommends. Also, when it does reset, do the LEDs give and indication, cuz for me the power let does not flash, it does not go dark, it is always on the whole time i kept the reset button pressed. Note that i accidentally disabled DHCP and that is why I need to hard reset it
  5. Okay Thank you. I did not notice the "Blink" vs "Static". I'll check
  6. Reigniting this topic ... any ETAs on this feature ?
  7. Hi Team, I have noticed that the internet LED on Netduma R2 is "ON" regardless of the WAN state, it is on even when WAN status is disconnected. This makes is very hard for non-tehnical members of the family to know if the Internet is down from the ISPs end without loging in to the router. Please help
  8. Hey Liam, It's been long since this top, we have moved forward to newers firmwares, i would really like to request a WAN Connect/Disconnect toggle, i know i can unplug the WAN port and plug it back it but them means to physically go to the router. As i said earlier my Asus Router has that feature and so does my generic cheapo ISP router that i am using as a bridge now in front of my R2. If there is a list of features that you guys are looking into, please add this one too
  9. If i use a different device as a PPPoE host to connect to internet and use Netduma R2 as a bridge, will that allow me to use Netduma Features like GeoFilter etc, i really doubt that it would be the case. Can you please confirm that @Netduma Liam ?
  10. I usually have to reset my WAN interface whenever there is a network outage from my ISP in order to reconnect and have to restart the router to do that, but that makes all my local services like Plex and RDP to go down as well. ASUS routers have a Enable/Disable switch for the internet(which basically bounces the WAN port), may be this can be added as a feature in future releases that allows the user to bounce(disable/enable) the WAN without restarting the router.
  11. Hi team, Anyone knows a way to perform a restart on the WAN interface without restarting entire router(R2). Essentially performing a Shut/No Shut on the WAN interface in order to force WAN to disconnect and reconnect. Maybe via CLI or any other method ?
