  1. Can I be added to please
  2. Uninstall and reinstall worked thanks 👍🏻
  3. Hi does the DumaOS iPhone app support R3? It’s listed in devices but when I try to login it says device not supported? Just had update to app saying more light options for R3 and thought ooh I will check it out but won’t let me login ?
  4. I have tried disabling WiFi on R3 just after making this post and used my linksys for WiFi and it’s been up solid ever since. So will wait for a firmware update and test again on R3
  5. Not done an update on my problems for awhile because it’s just frustrating. So it seems on latest firmware the LAN issue is better not dropping as frequently which is a step in right direction. But I have noticed the WiFi is dropping devices randomly now. I have WiFi split into to networks set on manual channel settings and all devices have static ip address. I have a ring door bell camera and it’s important it stays connected but keeps dropping off network. It say’s excellent signal and tried different channels and auto mode still same. Also other WiFi devices are loosing connection. I have done a WiFi channel scan on my MacBook to find a channel that is less congested so it’s not that. My R2 and xr700 never had problems with WiFi as I live in a bungalow and most devices are in same room. Router is next to front door where ring camera is hence the excellent signal. So it seems like a software error on router just randomly kicking devices off. Also found I have to reboot router every other day because it seems to slow down the connection speed. After reboot everything is really responsive and works fine but WiFi devices can disconnect at any time.
  6. @Netduma Fraser I didn't have Ad Blocker turned on.
  7. I have tried the new firmware and found it stops you watching Disney plus, Netflix and Apple TV. It loads them up to menus but when you try to watch anything it just buffers continuously and then comes up with an error. I tried turning off Smart Boost, and steady ping still same. I just installed .23 without reseting router and tried and all work again now.
  8. I can see where your coming from and I myself went through trouble shooting with the team they were trying to blame my switch. I thought no wouldn’t be that but disconnected it anyway and turned out it wasn’t. Yes I agree about users not doing basic steps with the team even if they think it’s not the problem. But there is 100% a bug with the Ethernet side of this router! Could be the cpu overheating and shutting off the Ethernet controller who knows. Others have had WiFi issues but I am using WiFi for my PS5 to stop disconnects and it’s working ok. I still have to reboot the router every other day because it drops rest of my devices on Ethernet. Your logic is off though sir. Just because a small number of people have problems doesn’t mean the firmware is ok! Like I said everyone has different configurations which you should know if you’re an expert that can have different outcomes. So to blame the router is spot on! If people have their network all running fine and only component that changed was router umm hmmm I wonder what the problem is ??? I can’t figure it out better rip all the Ethernet cables out and switches and buy new then blame the ISP it def won’t be the router ! Even if everyone is on .23 they will all have different problems depending on setup. I know some ISPs lock the MAC address of router to the ONT and they block them until you call them to reset it. I worked on an RAF base that had managed Ethernet ports by MAC address. Point is just because one R3 works on one setup it may not on another. Also the number of devices connected and types of devices can effect the outcome. I have 21 devices connected via WiFi and Ethernet. You may have a couple and be fine.
  9. OMG! Your logic is lacking logic! why are you even mentioning enterprise environments for a primarily gaming home router! its completely out of context. You do know if there is bugs in the R3 firmware then certain connection configurations that somehow got missed during testing could occur. I am having ethernet disconnects on the LAN side but what if the bug affects the WAN side as well for others? if yours is stable why even comment! to put others down and call them stupid! I am not upset just hate arrogant people who assume because they have no issues everyone else must be at fault. Just because a problem isn't widespread or affects you doesn't mean it doesn't exist. All I can say congrats that yours is stable and connected. Good day sir
  10. So if your lucky enough to have your r3 stable then screw everyone else that’s having disconnect issues or whatever and say I am happy to wait ! That’s so selfish! And to start implying users don’t understand how routers work again how demeaning to others ! I personally am a certified network engineer with 20+ years experience. I understand what the hold up. God some people !
  11. I have factory reset the router probably 1000 times by now and reinstalled fresh. Tried loads of different configurations. I was one of first to get router so been through .16 - .23 firmware. Notice how I am not getting a reply from admins 🤔 makes you think they can’t find what’s causing problems. Maybe it’s a hardware problem!
  12. Hi, I have as blocker on but disabled for PS5, TV, and couple other devices. Have also tried with it off completely but didn’t make much difference to Ethernet devices dropping. I have IPv6 disabled as well.
  13. @Netduma Fraser Are you going to respond with an update?
  14. I think a lot of people are waiting for the update that was said be be out 2 weeks ago and still nothing! I have had to switch my PS5 over to WiFi to stop it disconnecting during a game of MW3 zombies. Still doesn’t stop the Mrs moaning that the tv has disconnected again! I love netduma but starting to look at other gaming routers out there. It really disheartens you when your told update is coming then nothing! Even if it’s a small patch it means the router is getting better with each one! Might not fix my issue but will help someone else! Please please release an update soon! I placed my faith in netduma and so far just keep getting fobbed off with excuses! I bet this won’t be replied to now for a week lol
  15. Same issue I am having. I found giving all wired devices a static ip address kept them connected for longer but still drop off after couple days.
