  1. This issue/glitch still exists for some? My phone (S23 Ultra) has an option to randomize the mac address each time it connects or changes dynamically like an ip would in dhcp, so theoretically making its IP static would make the device "stick" to my router, no? unfortunately thats not what happens, and each time my phone connects to my router it shows up in device control as "unnamed device" even though it I have saved static ip on my phone and reserved the IP in dhcp in the r2 settings, and have named the device when its connected. I changed my devices settings to not randomize the MAC address, which causes the router to act normally, but shouldnt it work regardless if my ip is reserved and set static for my router? Just curious as to how the router focuses on mac adresses when its a layer 3 device and I can set IP's directly to devices
  2. Something to ask and add to the discussion here, since Mostwest mentioned adding servers manually, Would it be possible to add servers directly from the ping heatmap, assuming its up to date, directly to the Geo Filter? Since it tell us what the best ping servers are it would be really convenient to add them to the filter manually to test the connection or even just to stick to those servers when gaming. Even better would be to implement a way to add server IP addresses, if they were easily accesible somehow.
  3. That's what I did, what's weird is I can't connect to anyone voice wise in discord even with the server added, I have to turn filtering off on the geo filter and then voice chat connects. Any reason why filter mode blocks discord chat?
  4. I am Located Longview, WA about 45 minutes north of Portland, OR. That server I'm pinging pops up when I'm playing warzone on pc, I'm not sure if its an actual gaming server, but typically demonware is a gaming server. I have never actually connected to that server, since the polygon mode has me only on the west coast I'm assuming, but that server ID doesn't look familiar or similar to any of the other servers I connect too. HOWEVER, I do have another mislocated server which happens to pop up when I'm in Discord. I have a screenshot here as well with that server's credentials.
  5. I have a mislocated server, I'm assuming this server for me is actually in california, on the screenshot I've circled where the server is locating for me, but underneath is the server credentials.
  6. Hello R2 Forum and Admins/Developers! My question is a simple one: In the future, are there talks/possibilities about adding the ability to add servers discovered via the Ping Heatmap to your geo-filter? My understanding is the Ping Heatmap is mainly reflecting dedicated servers and the servers that split within some of those dedicated servers, to show what your real-ping is to that server. I understand that does not reflect in game of course, but the ping heatmap and geo-filter are still fantastic tools to indicate whether or not a server is good for you or not. I'm over in SW Washington State, and COD Warzone servers show both dedicated and single servers on the heatmap, however for a server in California for me, only some of them are a good ping (around 30ish ping on the heatmap) while others might show as high as 70 ping, which for an FPS game that difference in ping can make-or-break your bullet/hit registration on enemy players (granted this is not the only thing that affects hit registration, but is definitely no stranger to the issue). I'm fine with my setup now, as I can't expect everything to be perfect, but having the ability to just choose outright the good servers BEFORE finding lobbies, would be a quality of life improvement. Thank you for taking the time to respond, any feedback is appreciated! Oh, and I run xfinity internet with a CM-1000 to my R2 for hardware, if that helps for any feedback you want to give me. Thanks a bunch!
