  1. Netgear deal with sending out beta invites, not us I'm afraid. Some people have already received their invites and others are still waiting. Hopefully you will receive one soon. In the meantime, you can try and upgrade to the latest XR500 firmware, this may resolve the issue. https://www.netgear.com/support/product/XR500.aspx#Firmware Version 2.3.2.56 You can also try a factory reset after the firmware update. Let us know if this works. Regards, Steve
  2. Thanks for the screenshots. Perhaps you can remove the xbox one device, and try adding it again, and if this doesn't work, you can follow the guide for Hybrid VPN setup for Nighthawk Pro Gaming routers. https://community.netgear.com/t5/Nighthawk-Pro-Gaming-Routers/Hybrid-VPN-Setup-Guide/td-p/1695383 Try these options, and let us know how you get on, thank you. Regards, Steve
  3. Hello and welcome to the forum. This has been an issue for some XR500 owners, I have searched some other threads related to this issue, and there doesn't seem to be one solution that resolves it. Instead there are various fixes suggested which do not work for everyone. The good news is, DumaOS 3.0 which is currently in beta for XR500 looks like a potential fix. You can sign up to the beta via the link below http://www.netgearinnovation.com/dumaos-beta/index.html Perhaps @Netduma Fraser might be able to shed some light on this issue. Steve
  4. Hello, we have tested the R2 using iperf, and these are the speeds we got: QoS On: Download 860Mbits/sec Upload 821Mbits/sec QoS Off: Download 890Mbits/sec Upload 833Mbits/sec Regards, Steve
  5. Hello and welcome to the forum. This is a common question especially since the announcement of the R2. We will continue to invite users, and once we feel the beta is relatively stable we'll then transition to an open beta. We appreciate your patience and your support. Regards, Steve
Gracias. StevePingPlotter Guide Hello and welcome to the forum, Please use PingPlotter, and choose a close IP to your region e.g. a local news website or business website. As there are no Activision servers in South America, we will try and get you best ping possible. Please then reply back with a screenshot sharing your results.Thank you.Steve
  7. Hello and welcome to the forum. Perhaps you can try the advice given in the previous post which is to turn off VPN when you need to get to the modem, as this was suggested. If you issue is not exactly the same, but similar, could you take a screenshot please of your VPN setup within DumaOS? Thanks, Steve
  8. Hello and welcome to the forum. Firstly, thank you for the screenshots and the troubleshooting you have already done, greatly appreciate you sharing as it really helps us suggesting alternatives. Ok so you've done a firmware reset (is this NETGEAR's firmware?) and you have also disabled QoS, which does work for some people. So my first question is, are you using Smart Connect? If so I would recommend disabling that and connecting to 5GHz manually and trying another test. Another option worth trying is going into each device's WiFi settings and scan for available routers (SSiDs). Under the XR500 - click on it and tell it to "Forget the Device" so it will clear any memory of the router from your device's memory. Try these options and let us know how you get on, thank you. Steve
  9. Hello and welcome to the forum. Maybe you can try following: Within the geo-filter, using spectating mode, join your friends in a party, then add all of them to the allow list. Then click on each friend on the map and put the radius to middle of ocean. Set to zero so that you're blocking everything, then go back to filtering mode. See if this works, and let us know how you get on, thanks. Steve
  10. Hello, unfortunately due to COVID-19, there are no cheaper options available. Because of this, our shipping option to the US also comes at a cost to us. Regards, Steve
Steve ____________ Hello and welcome to the forum. Please try the following: Add both consoles to geo-filter Radius/home in middle of ocean Set distance to zero Strict mode on Ping assist off Please try these steps, and let us know if this works for you. Steve

  13. ok instead of google, maybe try a local news website or local business who has a website, this should give you a better result, again using PingPlotter. Thanks, Steve
  14. Hello and welcome to the forum. Sorry to hear you are having this problem. Is this happening with one wired device or multiple wired devices? Have you tried different ethernet cables in case the current one is faulty? Steve
  15. Thanks for the screenshot. Ok so your base ping is good, and if your ping is 32-40 in game, then this is generally considered to be very good. Your in game ping can be slightly higher than what appears in geo-filter because of processing time. So my question is, are your multiplayer in game experiences actually suffering? e.g. lag, players sponging bullets etc. Steve
