  1. The factory reset seems to helped. I suppose I assumed the firmware update would've done the same thing, apologies. I can now get matches very quickly with filtering off, and with the expected amount of delay with various levels of filtering on. The "FAILED TO JOIN'S PARTY/Unable to connect to host" error message seems to be when the server/player is rejected by the R1. Previously it just seemed to be rejecting everything. I don't see the error now with filtering off, and briefly with filtering on before I do join a match. Thank you very much for your help.
  2. That was going to be next on my list. Thanks. I'll try that and let you know.
  3. It's hard to say concerning the update because BO6 is constantly updated, so undoubtedly there was one. I just can't be sure which one. Best I can say is the timing when it started. I'm just using the toggle switch in the Geo-Filter to turn it on and off.
  4. No changes on my end before it started happening this past December. I did update the firmware after I started trying to troubleshoot, but that didn't help/change anything.
  5. Thanks for the quick response on a Sunday. Tried both and the same error occurs.
  6. Hello, I'm having an issue as stated in the title that I can't match make in BO6 due this "FAILED TO JOIN'S PARTY/Unable to connect to host" error message while using the R1. It is the same problem whether I'm in filtering mode or not. I'm on PS5 and as soon as I bypass the R1 and wire in directly from my isp router I can match make normally. The R1 is on firmware 3.0.207, is in a dmz from the isp router. I have the necessary ports forwarded and have an open NAT. QOS is off. VPN is off. I have been using similar settings for years in COD and haven't had this problem. It really started to ramp up and has been increasingly worse since December 2025. I'd really appreciate some ideas please.
  7. I I did not make any changes no. I will run through all the settings this weekend and see if I can find anything. If I have no luck I'll post in an R1 forum. Thanks.
  8. Ok. Sorry. I didn't realize I was in the wrong forum. Thank you. I'll try what you mentioned.
  9. I've had the same problem happen recently. I can't connect to any matches the last couple weeks and get the "unable to connect to host/failed to join party" error message in BO6. I had turned off all filtering and put the R1 in spectating mode and it changed nothing. Once I plugged directly into my isp modem/router yesterday I had no issues at all matchmaking.
