  1. Running Modem/Router. Have a CM1200 Modem with this XR500. I'll see if setting it to Static in my XR500 will help.
  2. Sadly it doesn't do that. As said, all the ethernet lights on my router turn off then back on when it comes time to renew. Has happened for the past 14 days now.
  3. I am currently using the newest version of the firmware. From the moment the IP Renew happens, the 4 lights on the router for Ethernet all shut off then back on. I tried using .40 and I also tried using .32 suggested by a friend as being a pretty solid firmware version. On the older ones this still occurs, cuts my internet out for 30 seconds - 1 minute. I called and spoke with Netgear support last night and they did not have much to help me with. They suggested IP Reserving, Hardresetting, and Firmware Downgrade or Upgrade, all which still caused this issue. I can't go with a Static IP to stop this from happening since I am on Cox, and they do not offer Static IP's to normal customers, unless I was a business customer. The last thing I could try is swapping the Router out for another one, but I'm not sure if that could fix this issue, if it's a router defect or if it's a general issue all around.
  4. Hello, I've been noticing everyday at 1:44 PM that my Computers internet will cut out for a split second and then reconnect. I was trying to figure out for awhile what was causing this and in my routers logs, I see that the DHCP lease renewal is happening at that same exact time each day. The big issue with that is that I have a job and work during the time this keeps occurring and it cuts me off of my work software and any calls that I am currently on. Here are the logs from System Information: [DumaOS] DHCP lease change., Saturday, November 09, 2019 12:44:29 [DumaOS] DHCP new event., Saturday, November 09, 2019 12:44:29 [DHCP IP: 192.168.1.16] to MAC address 1c:1b:0d:68:8b:b9, Saturday, November 09, 2019 12:44:29 [DumaOS] Error parsing line in ARP table: 'fe80::242:5aff:fe9e:5019 dev brwan lladdr 00:42:5a:9e:50:19 router STALE', Saturday, November 09, 2019 12:44:22 [DumaOS] Error parsing line in ARP table: 'fe80::d5b:22fc:462d:fd88 dev br0 lladdr 1c:1b:0d:68:8b:b9 REACHABLE', Saturday, November 09, 2019 12:44:22 The IP for the Computer that keeps cutting is the one that is listed as 1.16. I also noticed a few errors before it happens, not sure if they are related to why I am cutting out or not. I'm trying to figure out if there is a way to change the timing on the lease change, without having to manually be on to do it. I'd like to try to set it for something like 4AM in the morning, so that way it won't interfere with anything going on from 7AM - 1AM. I just bought my XR500 last week and noticed this happening right away, but thought it was something else going on. I tried calling support today and they told me the DHCP lease change should not be cutting my internet and didn't really do much to help, was told I was getting a callback in 30 minutes and have gotten none in the past hour, so any help is appreciated. Edit: I also noticed another weird issue looking over my logs again. It seems like one of my IP's seems to not renew correctly. Not sure what is going on there, but the device is a PLW1000. Here are the logs for that: [DumaOS] DHCP lease change., Saturday, November 09, 2019 13:55:06 [DumaOS] DHCP new event., Saturday, November 09, 2019 13:55:06 [DHCP IP: 192.168.1.13] to MAC address dc:ef:09:3d:06:27, Saturday, November 09, 2019 13:55:06 [DumaOS] DHCP lease change., Saturday, November 09, 2019 13:54:34 [DumaOS] DHCP new event., Saturday, November 09, 2019 13:54:34 [DHCP IP: 192.168.1.13] to MAC address dc:ef:09:3d:06:27, Saturday, November 09, 2019 13:54:34 [DumaOS] DHCP lease change., Saturday, November 09, 2019 13:54:03 [DumaOS] DHCP new event., Saturday, November 09, 2019 13:54:03 [DHCP IP: 192.168.1.13] to MAC address dc:ef:09:3d:06:27, Saturday, November 09, 2019 13:54:03 [DumaOS] DHCP lease change., Saturday, November 09, 2019 13:53:31 [DumaOS] DHCP new event., Saturday, November 09, 2019 13:53:31 [DHCP IP: 192.168.1.13] to MAC address dc:ef:09:3d:06:27, Saturday, November 09, 2019 13:53:31 Edit 2: I went to renew it at a better time and got even more error parsing lines. Not sure what it means or if that could be causing the internet issues or not.
