    New ISP

@Netduma FraserThanks I have notice it's a bit glitchy one day next fine so will keep an eye on it
  2. Hi guys just wanted some friendly advice please got my new ISP installed and I am getting between 1% packet and 2% packet loss is this acceptable in playing fps shooting games. Thanks for any advice 👍
  3. @Netduma Fraser Thanks will give them a call
  4. @Netduma FraserJust read online that low upload speed you will lag on games do you think 20mbps upload be enough to stop me from lagging just going to ring ISP up to see what they say.
  5. Will try like you say you don't ask you won't get. Thanks for helping
  6. @Netduma Fraserthey was offering 1000mbps download and upload so I think it would be capable 80mbps but like you say they might not change plans they are offering would be sweet. Plus with my new ISP I get a WiFi 6 router hopefully it will work with netduma
  7. Hi @DARKNESSIam getting 50mbps download and 50mbps upload full fibre but wasn't sure if upload was important for gaming but Fraser as helped. I was going to ask my new ISP to take 30mbps off the upload and put it on the download leaving 20mbps upload. This would mean my new connection wouldn't be 50mbps download and 50mbps upload it would be 80mbps download and 20mbps upload instead
  8. I was going to ask them to take 30mbps off the upload and put it on the download leaving 20mbps upload will 20mbps be a enough upload.
  9. Hi wanting some advice hope you don't mind me posting as it's not about netduma just want some techi advice iam moving internet providers offering 50mbps download and 50mbps upload it was a great offer they are offering. Just wanted to know if upload speed is important too?

    Servers

    Thanks Fraser 👍
  11. Hi what's the best server to play on dedicated servers or peer to peer?
  12. Thanks Fuzy
  13. Like fuzy said a line shared between several ISP user's can suffer from saturation depending on the hours. So I could potentially get bufferbloat even if no one downloads or uses netflix.
  14. Thanks everyone for the advice and knowledge love networking stuff 👍
  15. Netduma definitely helps to steadying the line was strange to see when you have fttp
  16. Hi Fraser can you still get bufferbloat even if you are the only one using the internet at the time of the test?.
  17. Thanks for all the advice I tried it without the netduma and netduma definitely helps just sent a picture of my connection without the netduma connected
  18. Is there away of bringing the idle down? or like you say it's the servers
  19. Do you think the idle ping is high? I know do download and upload ping look nearly the same
  20. I think I have sorted it what do you think?
  21. Hi Fraser if you have bufferbloat do you move the slider's down or up?
  22. I think speed test was showing bufferbloat to confirmed by waveform
  23. Hi thanks for replying sounds like a daft question I have a low latency which is around 7ms is latency different to bufferbloat.
  24. Hi just wanted some advice I have changed connection is this bufferbloat I did a hard wire speed test it's saying download is 103ms and between 89. The upload is between 16ms and 17ms. Went to waveform website and did a bufferbloat test my score is A but says your Latency increased slightly under load what does that mean please?
