  1. HI Alex, Sorry for the late reply, I just got around to trying this. I tried turning it off and I am still getting the same errors amongst some other errors. I watched activity monitor and never seen any spikes in cpu usage before and after disabling. Do you's offer technical support through remote access or anything like that as I am not the most tech person and a lot of the stuff in the settings confuses me. I would be happy to pay for this service. Thanks, Shaun
  2. Hello, I have been using the router for a while now and not had many problems. but lately it seems that when someone else in the house is watching the firestick tv on the network this is causing huge amounts of lag while I am gaming. I don't understand as it wasn't causing problems before. I have anti-blufferboat as always, share excess unticked, traffic prioritization enabled, everything on 2 percent on QOS except my gaming console which takes the rest. I have been looking at the logs and noticing kill flow due to timeout is coming up alot - Not sure where to start with solving the issue, any help would be appreciated. Also I am having issue with logging in. this forum never remembers my password so i always get locked out and have to wait 15 minutes to change my password. Any fix's for this. Thanks in advance, Shaun
  3. Hi Fraser, I have been playing about with the settings and I believe I have sorted the issue. I am now using Anti blufferboat Always set to 10 & 10%. and changed bandwith allocation setting to prevent excess being used on other devies ( cant mind name as away from computer ) Now other people in house can stream and download stuff and my gameplay is perfect. Thanks, Shaun
  4. Hi Fraser, Thanks for the reply and sorry my late one, I have been away from the house for a few days. It definitely seems a local congestion issue as the connection is not great when my partner is on the internet streaming. I am using When high priority traffic is detected with 70% and 70% Traffic prioritisation is enabled for all devices. I have 80% bandwidth allocated to playstation for download and upload. My router is plugged into the wall by itself and also sitting on top of a desk, describing it as a crunching noise is probably not the correct way its just working hard and making noises when I am getting lag. Thanks, Shaun
  5. Hello there, Main reason I got this router was to improve my gaming experience as I play fifa. Unfortunately I am getting inconsistent download speeds. I have been running speed tests through my PS4 (wired into netduma) and I am getting results as low as 10 and high as 30Mbps. Different all the time. I have connected my netduma R1 through my bt homehub and turned off wifi for homehub so that every device has to connect through netduma. For the time being I am using my homehub as its a steady 30+ Mbps only issue is it lags when my partner steams as it aint got Quality of service like the netduma. I noticed when playing games looking at the Geofilter the ping is fine (38ms) but as soon as I feel lag i'd notice the lag shoot up to 100ms +. At the same time the router would be making crunching noises, Is this normal? Is there something I could check or a troubleshooting guide to go through as I am a bit unsure how to sort this. Thanks in advance. Shaun
  6. Thanks for your help. I used an old laptop (macbook got no ethernet) to get the wired connection to turn wifi on and everything is perfect now. Shaun
  7. Hello Fraser, Thanks for replying. I cant access the R1 device manager as I cant find the netduma R1 as a wireless connection and also I haven't installed DumaOS as its asking me to check what version of firmware I have by going onto the interface. Can I assume that my firmware is 1.03.6 or higher as its brand new. (arrived today) so that I can download it. It mentions I can break the router if i download the wrong firmware. Sorry if I am missing something simple. Cheers, Shaun
  8. Hello, I have followed the steps on the quick start guide i received in the box, but on my wireless devices netdumaR1 is not showing up as an available connection. I have read in the forum that i need to setup DMZ on my bthomehub. there is a link in the forum for a guide to do this but it is broken. Can someone advise on where to find the link or how to do this. Thanks, Shaun
