    Hey, I also posted this answer in the Netgear forum for beta testers. The other beta testers that were having the same problem Have reported good results doing this too.

    So second day up and running I do believe this was the problem and fixed it.

    Hey, I also posted this answer in the Netgear forum for beta testers. The other beta testers that were having the same problem Have reported good results doing this too.

    I had the same problem apparently but my switch is on a Lan Cable so not wifi only related it appears.

    I can't believe it but it actually fixed my router over 24 hours and still running ;o

    Well I restarted and told my router my switch is a xbox for now. So far 15 minutes up and running with no issues. I will let you all know in a couple of hours or a day for sure.

    Its a glitch with the .20 software I been on the beta for it since end of august netgear had a ton of complaints about it on there beta forum before it was released.
    netgear sent me a message asking for me to try 
    1. Open Google Chrome
    2. Make sure it has no extensions and clear cache/cookies
    3. Open GUI
    4. Go to System Information then R-apps
    5. Look for the Hamburger icon and set retry attempts to 5
    6. Close the GUI and reboot the router

    did not work for me.

    I have a ticket with netgear they told me not to worry about it, there firmware team told me to wait that very very soon a new one would be coming out to fix all problems .

    One thing Netduma had me try was making a custom rule under QoS that had port 1 - 9999 Open for QoS and uncheck the box that says something about Netduma games sorry I am on my phone and I don’t remember what it’s called 100% 
    another weird thing to try did you by chance change the led settings from default ? I have had really strange things that have happened when I change from default and do no or just solid colors . 
    Last thing would be to do a factory reset a couple times in row and not change any settings or anything and see if that works 
    By any chance the streams that are failing are they 4K ? Do regular hd and Sd work? When I was having problems 4K streams did the same thing you mentioned with same behaviors but my theory on that is the switch I have has a QoS built in that cannot be disabled and as it was passing traffic into the Netduma QoS and was having a weird double QoS effect. 
    On the Samsung you could try to make a static IP address on the tv then go into the router settings under lan and make a dhcp reservation and see if that helps .

    I have the xr500 and xr700 Both have had weird things happen when I have the LEDs set to not blink or off . I think its best to keep blinking at default .

    So @vazuh for giggles i reflashed the current firmware also a little a bit ago and now coming from .08r1 and .08r5 to .10 everything is fine for me now also and the apps are loading super quick unlike before

    I have the beta firmware also from netgear I posted yesterday that my xbox losses connection till I reboot the xr700 but What I have ran into is my xbox would lose all connection till I rebooted the xr700 but my iPhone and pc would still be connected and running.

    I don't have pppoe but I have never had a problem with changing dns I own the xr700 and xr500
