I'm not seeing peers when playing regular multiplayer, not blackout.  I'm not sure I'm seeing dedicated servers either.  I occasionally will see a peer or server, sometimes nothing.

So far so good on the factory reset.

Even though the speedtest within the modem UI is fine?  I just ran one and got the below:
    Test Completion Time Direction Throughput(Mbps) Overhead Average Latency(ms) 09/18/2018 14:03:09 downstream 971.661 70 10.274 09/18/2018 14:03:04 upstream 951.294 70 6.854

The speedtest within the modem's interface comes back at ~950/~950, while the speedtest within DumaOS comes back at ~450/~950.  So the speed dropoff is happening somewhere between the modem and XR500.  I've tried using different ports on the modem, all set to full duplex, but same result.  Don't think I know anyone around here I could test it with.

Yes, but my speed plan with Comcast was only 100 down/10 up.  The XR500 was outputting those speeds.  The modem I was using was an Arris SurfBoard SB6141, which was a modem that I purchased on my own.  I wasn't renting any equipment from Comcast.

    1. There is no bridge mode on the modem.  It's setup in IP passthrough mode.  I followed settings that other people have generally used for the specific AT&T modem I have.
    2. I think this is essentially what I've done with IP passthrough.  All wifi radios are off on the modem.
    3. I haven't tried AP mode, only router mode.  But wouldn't this effectively disable all the DumaOS features I bought the XR500 for?  e.g. Geo-Filter.

Yes, seems to be similar speeds and solid. Seems to work well with NG routers vs other non NG routers I found. EX has problems with other Mfr Smart Connect for some reason. Otherwise, works well. Only issue on the XR450 is the 2.4Ghz speed is limited at 100MB DOWN for some reason. Theres a post over on NG forum about it. I don't think the 500 is effected by this.

It needs to be updated.  I connected to a dedicated server in Miami, Florida this morning, which is not shown on that map.

Apparently there is a way to completely bypass the AT&T gateway if you have AT&T fiber (not DSL).  Involves using a dumb switch.  May give this a try once the Pace arrives.

It's something with the modem.  I just did a factory reset on the modem, hooked my PC directly up to the modem and did a speedtest.  Results were the same, download speed cut in half while upload speed is full strength.  Going to call AT&T I guess.

Right, AT&T forces you to use their gateway.  I don't have TV or phone through AT&T.  I only have internet.
Looks like my gateway doesn't have the latest firmware.  It's on 1.6.7 and that link is regarding 1.6.9.  I'll try updating that.

Ya never know what speedof.me is really doing. It's supposed to be a speed test site for use with out all the messy java and flash plug-ins.
Get a hold of your ISP and let them know that your seeing differences between the modem test and speedtest.net testing sites. Not sure how the modem is actually testing, could be only testing the speed between itself and the connecting box near your home. We just don't know. Your PC and speedtest.net sites are telling though.

Cool, gonna give it a shot.  Hopefully fairly easy to get all that setup, but we'll see.  I'll reply back if I'm spinning my wheels.

I believe the issue here is availability of lobbies.  If you are playing a gametype in CoD that isn't as populated, it may not be able initially to find a full lobby on the dedicated server that is closest to you.  So it looks to dedicated servers that are further away but still within your Geo-Filter.  I have this issue in Atlanta, GA (U.S.A) which a very heavily populated area and there is a dedicated server close by.  But it will sometimes connect me to dedicated servers that are 500 miles away in Illinois or Indiana where the connection is terrible and my ping will be ~100 m/s.  My guess is it does this because it couldn't find a lobby initially, so it looked at other dedicated servers.

It would be ideal to keep the Geo-Filter expanded to contain the peer players in those areas so that matchmaking isn't too difficult, but also be able to keep myself from connecting to those dedicated servers that are far away.

Being able to modify the Geo-Filter, i.e. toggle between filtering/spectating mode and being able to tweak the Geo-Filter radius.  Being able to allow/block certain connections would also be nice.

Okay do let us know if that happens again. Just to be sure hard turn off the console then setup the Geo-Filter then boot up again. I have a hot fix I can send you that may also help if it happens again.

I want to say I've seen both, but I'll have to check tonight when we play again.  I'll circle back.  Thanks.
