Additional logs for the Xbox perspective demonstrating that 20sec delay to getting online... from learning state until DCHP xbox series x... it shows the period of time before internet is established

To provide more info this issue also happens with a win10 laptop (ethernet connected, ipv6 disabled on R3) when put to sleep, approx 15secs or so, and appears to be related to log entries w.r.t. port of interest entering a learning state. Specifics firmware 4.0.19: Chrome Web browser: tab1 = dumaos, tab2 = sat with a new.bbc.co.uk entered into url but not executed, i.e. blank tab Put laptop to sleep R3 Eth1 port (laptop connected) goes down, and then disabled Wake up laptop, and press enter on the web url tab to get news... ~15secs delay meanwhile... logs state R1 Eth1 reports Link up... auto negotiates... 10Mbps... 1000Mbps Enters blocked... listening... learning... forwarding state Daemons running on R3 throw errors: ndhttpd, odhcp6c This issue is repeatable, with similar errors both times. I assume this is a known issue, and a fix is on the way. I am also experiencing this with my Xbox Series X, from standby it takes 30secs or so for it to connect to the Internet via an ethernet cable. With R2 it was instant.

I think it would be cool/great idea to add custom port options to tag as gaming traffic so that your fire and forget solution (smartboost) can appropriately prioritise gaming traffic. Otherwise it simply will not work for xbox, and the R2 at present is the only one with the option of prioritising unknown gaming traffic as previously mentioned above. A variety of ways of doing this, choice is up to you guys: Add gaming port -- generic -- adds to a table to add to allow prioritisation -- one stop shop for custom/additional gaming ports Xbox selected - edit device -- add custom port I personally prefer option (1) [table list style of additional gaming ports] with perhaps an optional option of tying it against a specific device (an xbox) or group of devices (all gaming consoles). The GUI/HMI could have simple 'add custom xbox port' button, and an advanced user option with protocol selection [single or multi: tcp/udp] and port/port-range.

The geofilter will state that my xbox series x is inactive when utilising the standard xbox alternative port networking feature that has existed for ~5yrs. I've added my xbox as a device under smartboost too, but no joy. Geofilter 1.0 works with the alternative port, and I can specify the port of interest as a gaming port on the R2. I've not yet be able to find (if the feature exists?) a way of adding a custom port as a gaming port, like I can with the R2. As I'm sure you are aware the reason for custom port option that xbox/ms provides is to ensure multiple consoles in the same house can have/get an open nat. network -> advanced settings -> alternative port selection and changing from the standard 3074 port to an alternative port (45000 - 55000'ish range) which presents 6 unique entries keyed off an xbox hardware key. I have multiple xbox consoles, and they each provide a different set of 6 ports to use. Switching the port on the xbox to 3074 is the only way I can get the Geofilter 2.0 to work. Is there a hidden option that I've missed (burried) to add custom ports to gaming traffic? If not are there plans to add custom xbox alternative ports to mark them as gaming, to allow them to work with geofilter 2.0? Thanks Sim PS.
