I agree that SBMM has been around since long, but in this game it is noticeable because of it's strict implementation, it's so damn thick. Hell, even the dev went on record talking about SBMM, and how they want to protect NEW players. This has never happened in previous COD's. The skill gap is already so narrow in this game, and SBMM is the icing on the cake.
Just as microtransactions was a hot topic before MW launch (because BO4 messed it up), I think SMBB will be the boiling topic before launch of next COD. (because MW messed it up lol).

I"ve actually thought about that just for the jump paddles.  I just wish they didn't have a mod pack on it.  Decided against it just cause i didn't want to give money to support a company that puts a pure cheat device out.  I know some use it with just tournament mode which is fine... but there are a lot of damn cheaters out there who can get this cheap for the mods.  If it wasn't for that this would have been a great buy to stay on budget.

Got the Scuff Vantage and that was a nightmare.  Got my money back within a week.
Believe Astro is great as well.    Have the A50's and it's the best headset i've ever owned.  Quality work!  I read somewhere that Astro was originally going to make controllers before they went the headset direction.  These controllers are a lot of money.  If any one is gonna put quality into it, it's definitely them.
And thanks for the mac response.  When i get back into shooters more often that will def make it worth a heavy consideration.

Whats up Urge yes the modules you can move around and make it an xbox controller. Yes, this software is compatible with mac here's the link https://www.astrogaming.com/customer-service/firmware-and-software/software.html The controller comes with a 6month warranty. Which I stated in the vid. Also, logictech is pretty reliable in my opinion based on their engineering and the Asto A40's. the BEST headset on the market. I wanted a Swagg scuf but their were too many negative complaints from various different youtubers on scufs being shit and how the paddles on the back break to easy. Plus I son't think the paddles are in the right location like this controller.

Almost got this.  Only reason i didn't was that i'm playing more single player and mmo's at the moment than shooters.  Plus this close to the next gen systems, i'd like to know if it will be compatible to the ps5 when that comes out.  Alot of money right now if you're buying a new system in possibly 2 years.
But, it does look like a great controller and still may...   the big selling point for me is the replaceable nodes.  The only part of a controller that has ever broken for me is the left thumbstick nodes where you can't run or it hesitates.  And sadly no one has ever fixed one properly either when sent off.  Terrible experience with Battle Beaver on that issue.  Wasn't even considering another high end controller for that reason.  But, with this controller if you're node goes out... they sell replacements.  At least for me that is a pretty huge selling point.  Pop your node out, pop the new one in.
I do have a question for you that i was concerned about as well.  I know they have the software but do you know if it's compatible with a MAC computer?

no bud, I noticed that fast search is ticked, this can bypass geo filtering in order to get a game quicker. It can take longer to find a game with it unticked but then his geo filtering will work correctly.

Guys it's the lag compensation in the game - if you're having hit detection issues, it's without doubt the game at fault. No game is perfect. I hear people saying Battlefield V has great hit detection compared to CoD for instance.
If you have a great ISP line, great equipment and a Geo-Filter for a great server / game ping, then your character movements etc shouldn't be lagging. That's your objective, and you've achieved it by the sounds of it. Ultimately if you're firing shots and they're not registering at this point, it's probably because the opposing player has a ping that's massively different to you and the game itself can't handle it. The game is at fault for letting such players join the server in the first place, and for not compensating properly for it.

Hi Gibson, welcome to the forum
There are cloud updates being rolled out to combat a few Black Ops 4 oddities - one was released last week for PS4, another will be released likely this week for Xbox. BO4 should play a lot better with the Geo-Filter after that.
What's your source for matchmaking being determined by your bandwidth? It's the first time I've heard anyone say that, so definitely check your source on this one. Myths and rumours are spread all the time by folks trying to understand matchmaking.
QoS won't have any impact on your matchmaking, and games don't discriminate in that way. If they did there'd be outrage. Games match you based on location / region and in some cases SBMM. Keep an eye out for the latest cloud update and test it again when that time comes!

Hi, welcome to the forum! We can't give an ETA I'm afraid since it's Netgear calling the shots on their Nighthawk routers. The latest Nighthawk update is in testing and we're working closely with them to ensure it's an awesome update. Hopefully not too long to wait now!

I'd recommend 70/70, lucky underpants, a prayer to Vondehaar (or some voodoo pins if you feel so inclined) and pray that you don't get a lobby full of laggers.
I haven't changed my sliders from 70/70 and my KD has been steadily rising (rapidly actually), I just put that down to this strange phenomenon called 'improvement' due to this thing some people call 'practise'. It's very strange, the more I play the better I seem to get.

    Congrats Nuno!!!
The Gold Knife was my last big hurdle for Dark Matter as well.  Was def a major pain in the rear and resulted in a lot of swearing.  Think it's harder in this game than Ops 3.

Yeah, it's almost impossible to get a feel for the head-to-head connection in Blackout - as you'll only meet each person once in the game and there can be minutes in between gunfights anyway.
You can definitely get on the lucky side of it and end up being the sponge yourself but you should be able to tell pretty quickly when you're on a higher ping server. In a head-to-head most people will seem to take an extra bullet or two often leading to you dying, that's down to the extra delay, you're already dead but your Xbox doesn't know it yet, it's just geography.
How can you tell anyway? You're always saying you can't play because of your interleaving, which would almost certainly ensure you don't ever get 7ms to the UK.
I'm not saying the local server is always good (far from it) and there will be plenty of people on your local server with a horrendous connection but 100ms is quite a long time in a game, you can almost count 10ths of a second out loud.

Big difference amigo.  Only partied with friends from across the pond to play with and socialize with friends; never to gain any type of lag comp/high ping advantage.
Can play just as well on my own servers; don't need to fudge anything to make myself feel better

I said I've seen it before, not that I see it present tense. Plus with the connections I've seen many Americans get on even the worst quality ISPs (like jittery cable providers), I don't think you have to worry about foreigners lmao
