Dan got a reaction from Netduma Jack in Lan cable not connected
I get this on my ps 4 pro occasionally when using cat6 cables. Fingers crossed, has always been fixed by removing and reinserting Lan cable.
Kudos to Netduma Jack for taking time to research a non-Netduma issue. Destination "go the extra mile" now arrived.

Aye I understand - I reckon the conclusion is that MTU isn't going to solve it. Check out the LAN port on your PS4 and see if the pins are out of alignment / if anything looks off. Do the same with your Ethernet cable. That's one of the most common causes (according to the temple of Google). Also check out this thread: https://community.eu.playstation.com/t5/PS4/LAN-Cable-Not-Connected/m-p/25617826
Looks like a very, very common issue with PS4 Pro's, definitely on the Sony side. Maybe replacing your Modem could solve it as an alternative. I'll have a look into if there's any router settings that could potentially solve it, but many of the controls on routers won't contain the solution. (e.g Port Forwarding, UPnP, DNS, MTU, QoS etc).

BO4 does seem to get confused with its NAT. I sometimes see this and never had it before.
Closing and opening BO4 resolves it for me. No need to reboot console or router.

I battled this issue for weeks and finally gave up, EVERYONE with a R1 needs to stop trying to make DumaOS work and downgrade back to .J   I'm sick of seeing everyone have the same problems with no fix for weeks now. Simple downgrade and your problems will be solved, the old OS works flawlessly on BO4 and other games. Let the Devs figure this thing out and provide an update in the future, This problem almost made me sell the R1 until i simply downgraded. Now i play games instead of mess around with router settings, unless you bought the router to play with it's settings(which i doubt).

Currently only playing Blackout so stuck on 20hz host tick rates.

The PlayStation servers no longer release their locations so routers can't report them. Probably turned off to minimise demand on the servers

As soon as you said I realise I am being a nugget. My brain was stuck in latency mode.
So ping and tickrate are in m/s yet Send Rate and Receive Rate are kb/s
In Blackout, I see and shoot first, bullets hit but I'm dead first even with pre-aiming. So frustrating in a one life mode

Get shot first, move the sliders whilst the Poxy  respawn map appears.
Also tell the ex, who will sue your brother and he'll stop uploading

I'm Plusnet so yes they prioritise gaming within their packages. Originally you had to pay for game pro.
Are you within your cooling off period.  You can challenge talk talk even after then. You have a good set of data to show them (although it may feel like banging your head against a wall).
Even without gaming prioritisation you should only struggle at peak times. Does it happen all of the time

There isn't an off switch as you must haves MTU setting.
The switch is auto or manual. In auto you can't enter and save the MTU. In manual you can.
I'm not in front of GUI but from memory switch to red to manually enter

Short answer - what does your ISP recommend.
Noreason to doubt auto wouldn't work.
I'm on FTTC with Pppoe through Plusnet and advice was to set to 1492.
I set it on the wan and leave everything behind it on auto.

    Dang!
My PS4 pro can get a bit spassy in offline mode if too many boys are added but nothing like that. Perhaps it's a combination of your boiler firing up, TV changing channel, door bell ringing and microwave being turned on. Or perhaps the neighbours are secretly fracking.....
Other than that surely that must be packet loss or a hardware issue?

Sodoes the "lobby not joinable" message arise because initially it connected and if you subsequently block it will try and connect and fail, give you the error message rather than automatically find another lobby?

Should work fine. I have done several times.
I always reboot pc before logging into interface again. If you changed your gateway if should remember it.
    If not try usual 192.168.88.1
Login details do reset to default as well

Apologies, for just missing the vote deadline.
I work in e-commerce so deal with payment processing.
There is quite a misconception about agents like PayPal (and equivalents).
From a consumer perspective, whilst they do have a protection scheme of their own, in the UK you have greater protection under the credit consumer Act if paying with a credit card. Furthermore, if you pay with a credit card through PayPal (or equivalent) you actually give up some of these rights. Therefore, in the UK paying with a credit card ( if you have one) ourside of PayPal should always be your first choice. Then credit card through PayPal, then cash transfer methods which have the least protection.
From a business perspective PayPal tends to be much more expensive to process unless you have a significant negotiation position.
This isn't a snub at PayPal just the Agency mechanic that complicates a payment transaction.

    Hi Fraser,
Understandable that you guys wont update anymore on original r1. However can you just clarify for peace of mind. If I stay on original r1 firmware. Does the geo filter cloud update for me as well as when you update cloud for DumaOS in the coming years? I already have this idea that the geo filter cloud is most likely the same for orig r1 and DumaOS. But I need to hear from you guys for clarity and peace of mind if its alright.

I guessed that's what you were trying to do and appreciate that it is hard to educate the masses.
However, you have a niche product and therefore can dictate, to a degree, how it must be paid for.
On the flip side, the demographic of the customer will make a difference depending on their age and access to a credit / debit card.
However, if someone wants an R1 they will find a way.
I know of stripe but my organisation's volumes are large enough to be considered an enterprise and therefore stripe wouldn't be competitive.
Interesting comp below which you may find useful and sums it up nicely. PayPal was gifted it's position off of the success of eBay but the world has caught up and now overtaken it. With the introduction of PSD2 expect to see more ways to take payment developing.
