Putting me in servers that are not allowed. Been with netduma since day 1 so I know how to set it up and it just don’t work, even says it’s connected to a blocked server when looking at steady ping
-
Well the geo filter definitely don’t work on the R3 to play FC 25
-
Yes av just turned mine on now and it’s unplayable, I wanna know how it’s always the other player who gets the better connection at peak times, I play after work at 1am and it’s always brilliant. I never use geo filter or anything but as I write this am putting my geo filter to Russia see what happens, can’t play any worse than the 11ms to London gameplay am getting prior to writing this.

It won’t make your game better, still get games when your players are like slugs and can’t pass. That’s on fibre with nobody else in the house which confirms it’s not my internet that’s making the game crap it’s the game. Turn it off in disgust try again later on and the games brilliant for some reason, changed nothing but plays perfect. Next time you play it crap again. am sure you know the score.

These tests are done doing a speed test on another devce which only reaches 250Mbps Tests are fine when streaming on another device its just downloads.
-
I use a site called pingcanbeusefull.com i have tested the ping at on 100% 80% 60% 40% and 20% of download speed. I have to take it down to 20% before i get the desired results, see below:
-
Got it working but same as with plusnet router attached, have to slow speed right down to stop lag spikes
-
you legend. now lets see if i can get ping optimizer to work, I have been having to cut my speed down fromm 1gb to 150mbps to stop lag spikes
-
thanks al give it a go
-
is that a yes or a no?
-
For Fibre (FTTC) connections, you'll need a router with a built-in VDSL modem or a separate modem and router. Deos the R3 have a built in VDSL modem ?? trying to set up r3 without using the plusnet router aswell. thanks

Will when I get time and he not on pc
-
Done all the ping plotter tests again on pc and I get lag spikes when I run a speed test on my iPhone, I need to set my download to 20% which is about 160mbps. This was with YouTube playing and a few twitch streams
-
I found when I first got my fibre 1gb download i could only get that speed using Ethernet cable, most wireless devices will only get around 600mbps download unless you have the latest tech.
-
cant find the pingplotter instructions anywehere
-
yes al try ping plotter again now, here are some screen shots i took but might be pointless becouse i have changed the things you said.

I play fc25 everyday, before work 11:00am ish and after work 12pm ish the difference in game play being fast and responsive at night and slow before work is massive, don’t think there is anything you can do, I end up deleting squad and making a new 1 which seems to speed the game back up for some reason. that’s pinging 13 ms to the London server. had 1 night when the game was as fast as it’s ever been, won ever game people quitting on me becouse even my ai were getting stuck in making tackles without me doing anything, next day they were pathetic, same team same everything they were just not interested. Jogging about while players ran past them.
-
Nothing else changed, av got some screenshots of bufferbloat with different % settings but am locked out for 15mins on pc wrong password lol but still logged in on phone
-
-
Yeah I have it in DMZ al just leave it, spend more time messing about with settings than I do playing games last week
-
Also reserving 20% down and up makes no difference to lag when someone watches a video
-
Yea, I have found auto doesn’t work so I have had to drop my speeds to 10% download and 50% upload to stop games lagging if someone watches a video or downloads anything. Even if the video is only downloading at 25mbps I have over 800 spare but still lags. Am currently using only 80mbps download with always on ticked.
