Guest Netduma_Iain
Hi Tradie please don't use the basic upgrade version today. We only use advanced upgrade.

Pilkerboy
Hi Iain, Thanks for the quick reply. i'm still getting the hang of all this, are you able to point me in the right direction on how to download the latest version of the firmware. Thanks again Got to http://www.netduma.com/upgrade to download the latest version. But I just read a comment from Iain in an other topic to hold off upgrading today. I don't know the reason, but maybe a newer version is soon available.

Star_Being13
On the version .7 BETA I noticed: 1) That I am still connecting to host outside of my Geo-Filter and do not see the icon (yellow triangle with exclamation mark) for hosts who are outside of my geo filter. Most of the games played I could see if I or someone else was host. 2) I am getting around 109mbs download speed during speed test when I should be getting around 150+ mbs. I have set my anti-flooding to reactive and unchecked the box for deep packet analysis under the miscellaneous menu option. However, my upload speed seems to be pretty accurate and close to what my ISP is providing. Just some feedback for results regarding the software BETA 1.02.7 version. Thanks Netduma team! Guest Netduma_Iain
Hi Star, please get in the chat room. You should never connect to hosts outside your circle if you have "strict mode" enabled. Have you enabled it? I'm not sure why you're not reaching 120-150 I'll look into that right away. Alpha really sorry but some people are experiencing issues with the beta so I'd like to make sure its fully working before I release it to everyone. Star_Being13
Netduma Team, After testing my R1 for 3 hours of gaming. I noticed over time that my bandwidth speed decreased from 109 Mbs to 1-3Mbs on download and upload decreased to about 1-2 Mbs. Again, this is beta .7 software version and just providing feedback in order to resolve these connection/speed issues. Optimistic that the final software update of version .7 will solve the issues I experienced. :-) Thanks!
Guest Netduma_Iain
HI Star, thanks for the feedback. Your bandwidth went from 109Mbs to 1-3Mbs? There is something seriously wrong there, were you using the ant-flood section at the time?
Star_Being13
Yes very weird I know. And Yep I was using the anti flood section. Both preemptive and reactive gave me those low bandwidth results.
Guest Netduma_Iain
Ok that is understandable I think I know exactly what has happened. You have not set your bandwidth values. Could you go to "Congestion Control" and select "Set Bandwidth" & in there please put your expected bandwidth then try again. FYI if you set anti-flood to 100% up & down it disables the bandwidth capping so it runs as fast as possible. Please let me know how you get on with that
Star_Being13
Thanks yelp that was the issue, my speed test results went back up to 105MB/s and upload is fine now too. However, it's still not getting me around my expected 150MB/s download. Iain can we jump into chat? I have a few questions?
