Setup with Ethernet Switch

I just got my R1 in the mail today, can't wait to get home and set it up but wanted to confirm how I'm gonna set it up.

 

My current setup is Modem ---> Netgear WNDR4500 Router ----> Netgear GS608NA 8-port Gigabit Switch

 

I use the switch because I have more hard wired devices than the router has ports (I need like 6 or 7 ports)

 

So when I setup my R1 should it go Modem ---> R1 ---> Switch

Hey thanks for purchasing and so glad to see you received it today! I dont a switche but I believe that would be a good setup. Perhaps others with switches can comment with their optimum setup.

Yeah your idea is perfect. You want the switch downstream of the Netduma so you get full benefit from all its awesome features
