CobalTicz
I was wondering if I set the geo filter to a range that is smaller than where my xbox live friends are that i want to connect with will I have to do something else just to play with them. say like the allow and deny (haven't purchased router yet trying to learn everything I can first)

To be specific, you would: 1. Disable the geo-filter and invite your friends 2. Once they have joined, you would click on their circle on your geo-filter and give them a high rating on the Allow Feature, ideally 100% 3. As they have now been whitelisted, you will always be able to connect to them even if they are outside of your filter. I hope that answers your question. Pilkerboy
You have to place them in 'allow', so you can play with your friends even if they are outside of your geo-filter radius.

It's very quick and easy to do (<30 seconds max)
