Guest Killhippie Posted December 13, 2019 Share Posted December 13, 2019 NETGEAR has released fixes for a denial of service security vulnerability on the following product models: R8900, running firmware versions prior to 1.0.5.2 R9000, running firmware versions prior to 1.0.5.2 XR500, running firmware versions prior to 2.3.2.56 XR700, running firmware versions prior to 1.0.1.20 NETGEAR strongly recommends that you download the latest firmware as soon as possible.Typical Netgear to tell people about the DoS attacks this late in the game however I would suggest downgrading firmware is now a bad idea since these attacks are in the wild and a DoS attack taking you offline would not be great.
