Adam
We have been alerted to an issue that has affected a couple of our users, when using the geo filter on codAW, in certain very specific circumstances they could find a lobby to join but then found they got booted. We have identified the root cause of this and are currently working on a permanent fix. Currently just extending the geo filter range will fix the issue. When you join a lobby there are certain vital servers that you must be able to connect to for example first party platform servers and a games own back end servers, while we made every effort to white list these for as many games as possible, sometimes due to situations out of our control through various reasons one or two slip through our net, and when the geo filter is set to a very small radius these servers not being white listed get blocked. The knock on affect of this creates the issue we had reported to us earlier. What we ( well Iain so I don't steal his limelight here) has decided would be a good solution is to add a report button on the geo filter or ui menu. That way our community will be able to quickly report possible issues to us that we can address, and with more data at hand. So if a situation like this crops up again we can find a solution or at worst a temporary work around faster. We want our community to be integral to our ongoing development of features, it was always our aim to delivery a world class leading service to our customers. In such a way as they feel part of a valued community , and more importantly have a voice that is heard. We will be adding the report function in an upcoming patch .but in the mean time would love to hear your ideas of possible things you would like to see added to it, currently we envision it as a button with a drop down menu of options. Guest Netduma_Iain
Great post Adam, just need to add one small part to it. We will make the server white-list update seamless to the user. So for example if a server changed address and a few users in say California started using their report button. Our server would process the data fast looking for the shared IP. We then update the white-list and other back-end config files and your router would update itself without affecting your games or Internet usage. In theory, if something crops up it should be fixed very quickly.
Madman
I keep getting pulled to this host in the Midwest of the U.S. and my allow and deny list is cleared. It's frustrating because I'm 3 barring and the lag is felt significantly. Playing codAW on ps4 running 1.02.6... Any suggestions?

Is there any solution to this issue? Thanks There should be a padlock on your geo-filter where your supposed to connect. Increase your geo-filter to include the padlock and you should stop getting booted
Guest Netduma_Iain
Oh LMK sorry I noticed you mentioned something else, we will be bringing out something in .8 that will bring a proper solution to the problem. In the meantime do you mind just disabling before you start please.
