  1. Hi, I’m looking for advice on fine-tuning my XR1000 to achieve a consistent Grade A+ for eFootball. I am running firmware 1.0.2.86 and have already performed a factory reset. Connection Specs: Type: Fiber (PPPoE directly on XR1000). Actual Speed (Uncapped): ~600Mbps Down / ~100Mbps Up. Base Latency: 7ms. Current QoS Setup & Test Results: Bandwidth Settings: Set to 500/100 (Manual). Congestion Control: Always On, set to 70% for both sliders. The Result: I'm getting Grade A with +30ms Download Active latency. The Issue: Even with 500Mbps set as base, the Waveform test still pulls ~587Mbps, suggesting the congestion control isn't fully clamping the spikes. Questions: Is there a known issue with CC not strictly enforcing limits on this firmware version? Are there any specific WAN/LAN settings (IPv6, SIP ALG, etc.) I should toggle to stabilize "Active" latency? What is the recommended MTU for PPPoE on the XR1000 to minimize fragmentation during heavy load?. Attached are my Heatmap and latest Bufferbloat results. Any insights would be appreciated!
  2. Hi, Thank you for the quick response. I am currently running the XR1000 with a direct PPPoE connection. I am currently testing firmware version 1.0.0.64, but I am considering upgrading to the latest official version to get DumaOS 3.3 as you recommended. My main goal is to eliminate ping spikes and jitter in eFootball (PS5). Regarding my setup and the features in version 3.3: QoS: I have a 1Gbps connection. Should I use 'Always' or 'Auto-Enable' for Congestion Control? And what percentage do you recommend for the sliders to minimize Bufferbloat? Geo-Filter: Does version 3.3 have updated cloud maps for eFootball servers compared to version .64? Ping Limit / Ping Assist: I would like to know how the Ping Limit feature works in version 3.3. Is it reliable for filtering out high-ping opponents in eFootball, and what is the best way to configure it alongside the Radius? Auto-Ping: I've noticed some instability in the ping graph on newer versions. Is this a known visual bug, or does it represent actual network jitter? Would you recommend a clean install (Factory Reset) when moving to 3.3 to ensure these features work correctly?
  3. Hi Netduma team, I am currently using the Nighthawk XR1000 and I’ve been experiencing some stability issues with the current official firmware (specifically jitter in Auto Ping and Geo-Filter inconsistency). I’ve heard about the DumaOS 3.3 and the new DumaOS 4.0 Early Access. Could you please provide information on the following: Is there a stable/official release date for DumaOS 3.3 for the XR1000? Is the DumaOS 4.0 Early Access recommended for daily gaming use at this stage? Where can I find the latest stable .chk file to ensure my router is running the most optimized version? I am mainly playing eFootball on PS5 and looking for the most stable connection possible. Thanks in advance for your help!
