  1. I'm starting to think either I'm missing something or this router has a mind of its own. First, the speed test built into the router doesn't work at all. I have a 1 Gbps connection, but it consistently reports around 300 Mbps for download and 600 Mbps for upload. I input my actual speeds manually, which come out to about 910 Mbps for download and 930 Mbps for upload. I set both speeds at 70% on the congestion control slider. When I run another speed test to check if it worked, it reports my download speed as around 220 Mbps, which is not 70% of 910 Mbps. I thought maybe a router reboot would resolve the issue, but that only resulted in even more confusing information. For instance, right now, I'm testing by setting the speeds to 900 Mbps for both download and upload, with the download slider at 100% and the upload slider at 65%. Yet, a speed test shows my download speed at 266 Mbps, which is completely inaccurate, while the upload is reported as 545 Mbps, closer to what I'd expect. Despite locking my speeds quite low, the congestion control seems ineffective. Even when I turn smart boost off completely, it doesn't return my speeds to normal. Restarting the router does nothing to improve the situation. I'm currently on the v4.0.402 firmware, but it's no different on the v4.0.290 firmware.
  2. I'm on the v4.0.236 firmware I thought that was the newest one considering that's the highest post on the Netduma R3 Support page. I'll be honest I didn't notice Netduma R3 Early Access page. I'll give the v4.0.290 a try and report back in a few days. Thank you.
  3. Hello, I have a 150Mbps download and 150Mbps upload fiber connection, with some variability. When I run the ping optimizer, it can't improve my ping and leaves my congestion sliders at 100% on both, but it still seems to work well because I get an A+ on the buffer bloat test. However, throughout the day, my speeds gradually slow down to around 70-80Mbps, even though my sliders are still at 100%. Is this normal or am I missing something? It's frustrating. Rebooting the router resolves the issue temporarily, but the speeds slow down again. I've tested it on both the newest firmware and the previous firmware, and the issue remains the same. it's quite possible I'm missing something any ideas?
