  1. Hi all, When connecting the R3 to my modem via DMZ mode do I put the IP address in which I connect to the R3 via my web browser or the WAN IP address as these two are different? Thanks in advance.
  2. Thanks ORaGaMi and Fraser, I can confirm that there were servers in France (Paris) at one stage which was confirmed by DICE the developers of 2042 however as of late I have also been connecting to German servers, however they do have Mains in UK, Madrid and Sweden however they only link you to the game servers. Anyhow's it would be greatly appreciated if we can get them on the heat map. I have recently got my friend to purchase an R3 last week for the same game so I know he would appreciate it too.
  3. Is there any specific way to block out Germany besides putting the circle or polygon just inside France?
  4. Hi Fraser, So after some testing using my ISP's modem/router combo with R3 disconnected I connect to the Paris servers around 50% of the time, however with the R3 connected I very rarely hit those servers, it seems to connect me to the servers in Germany. Now I'm located in Spain so the connection has to go through france so it's left me baffled. I understand my ISP has an impact on routing but it does feel the R3 is affecting this somehow not to mention my ping is increasing around 10 to 15ms (even with steady ping dissabled). Any help appreciated.
  5. Recently bought the R3. Ping Optimizer doesn't work half the time, and when I use the "Test Ping" feature its gives me about a 5ms difference or more compared to the Ping result of the "Ping Optimzer" before its optimized. The Speed Test is very inaccurate, and yes I've ran it more than once. Often doesn't load as well. Speed test seems to fluctuate alot compared to your speed test online. Besides Netduma Fraser who seems to be on the ball customer support wise the actual product is rather disappointing and feels like a beta product.
  6. Hi Devs, Any chance you'll be including a re-routing service, most times ISP routing when gaming is horrible and you can simply lower your ping substantially via a VPN. Would be nice if this feature could be added to the R3 which would tie in with the Geo features nicely. I understand you have the Hybrib VPN service coming soon, but that means using a third party VPN service as opposed to a built in feature.
  7. I appreciats that Fraser. Re without the Geo Filter Im goingt o check shortly and get back to you. Thanks.
  8. Further to my last I've noticed all the servers don't light up at once when in Geo filter mode like I've seen on your setup videos
  9. Bought the router for this AAA game (Battlefield 2042) and to my surprise there's no Battelfield server option in the Ping Heatmap. There's a Frostbite engine section (which the game is built on) in Geo-Filter. Can this be added please? On another note it doesn't like connecting to the Paris server when in Geo-Filter mode. I have no issues without Netduma R3. Can this be looked into as well pls? Thanks.
  10. So that worked however my speeds appear to be capped well below my ISP' bandwidth limit of 1gbs up and 1gbs down. At the moment I'm getting around 700mbs down and 150mbs up. I've tried setting the parameters manually to 1gb for both up and down on the ping optimizer section as well as changing congestion control off, on and auto and un ticking the speed test part. Also worth noting I'm running latest firmware 4.0.41. When I ran the R3 through DMZ I did not have the internet cap. Any ideas? Thanks again.
  11. Thanks Fraser, I've done as you've said but I'm still not getting a connection to the Internet. Any ideas?
  12. Sorry fraser can you explain where the VLAN setting is? Thanks again, new to Netduma
  13. How do you set this up please?
  14. Thanks for replying Fraser. So I've now managed to stay connected with my mobile via WiFi on the setup screen of the R3 but when I try to connect to the Internet is says no connection. My connections are as follows. Fibre cable > ISP all in one router/modem (set to Bridge Mode) > Ethernet from ISP router to R3 > Seperate ethernet cable from R3 to PC. Another bit of info: All I know is my ISP uses DHCP VLAN 20 but I'm not sure what that entails to set it up. Do I need to change settings on PC, ISP router or R3 to get a connection? On my PC is says no internet connection yet under Ethernet settings there's bytes of data being received and transfered. Thanks again.
  15. Hi all, So I've managed to get my R3 working via DMZ with all features but the Geo-filter working 100% (still puts me in bf2042 servers outside the circle). Anyways I thought I'd try setting up Bridge mode with my ISP's router/modem combo to get the R3's full potential. My problem lies as soon as set up Bridge Mode on the ISP router/modem through its default gate way (192.168.1.1) I lose connection. I'm connected via Ethernet but I can no longer connect to its usual IP gateway address of 192.168.1.1 I get a time out. I've reset the R3 (factory reset) and connected that via ethernet to the ISP R/M where I get a connection light indicating there's a LAN connection. Now when I try to connect to the R3 via its old IP address it also times out and when I try to connect wirelessly using the setup card provided the connection times out. So it appears that although there's a connection between ISP R/M, R3 and my PC I am unable to connect to the R3's set up page. Hope someone can help. Many thanks
