  1. As in typically even in GPU for Pc most people don’t upgrade every gen unless massive improvements for example 20-30 series had biggest improvement and 30-40 and 50-60 series raw performance isn’t a lot more . obviously time between the router models are longer as we see when the Duma R3 was released vs R2. So when we have a R4 released if the improvement is 10% vs R3 most people wouldn’t see a point to upgrade for whereas if the improvement is a lot higher around 40% or more many people will purchase due to the price to performance also despite being more expensive than. A R3 Hope it makes sense
  2. I believe adding a NPU would bring the biggest performance for the cost vs making any other hardware changes , other things I listed are probably overkill . but it would be worth testing a NPU also unless the next upcoming Model that is released provides a lot more improvement , most people wouldn’t upgrade from a R3 to R4
  3. Yes that’s true but a CPU has cycles to inspect and forward packets etc a NPU has parallel pipelines to process in nano seconds vs microseconds preventing spikes when loaded , also provides advanced security with barely any latency compared to a CPU . if added it will be beneficial but if you guys can’t it’s fine I’m only listing what I thjnk can have a big enough difference
  4. Increased Ram higher speed , quad core higher speed CPU , FPGA based packet processing , Neural processing unit , predictive congestion control , Geo filter improvements that you don’t connect to any servers outside of a ping range etc as it doesn’t totally work despite denying all servers in a region , DNS unbound , Adblock , Latenxy aware routing an hardware acceleration
  5. I believed ive fixed the issue using a raspberry pi 5 running sqm shaping traffic on ingress and egress between my duma R3 and ONT.Before and after
  6. So I have done that but for download my max spikes to 270ms etc potentially shows too much bandwidth is allocated on download but I have lowered it from 90% to 51% in increments of 5 even by 2 still getting these high spikes compared to unloaded baseline. I can’t seem to figure out the issue
  7. ive done this but makes no sense with my results , i used the auto optimiser for a baseline , ive lowered to 51% for download but the max ping on download still is 249 ms . When can we expect the new update with ACC to be rolled out?
  8. What QOS does the R3 use ?
  9. Nope I used to have manual port forwarding but I deleted them as I use UPNP, thanks for that I will try and let you know how it goes. Also when I perform bufferbloat test I have huge spikes on download max ping I can attach picture below . Do you know what can cause this ?
  10. I haven’t changed anything physically and I changed some settings MTU and lowered Transmit and receive buffers to 256 on mu network adapter on my PC but I reverted them back to original settings and still had same issue.
  11. Correct so ONT doesn’t provide WiFi . I can’t connect PC directly to ONT so can’t test that unfortunately.
  12. So I have my ONT directly connected to my DumaR3 WAN . Not sure if it’s Open NAT
  13. Yes so sometimes the game loads I can play , other times I load disconnects me and I have to keep restarting . Also with geo filter why does servers I deny keep connecting ? For example I have all servers outside of London on deny and it still connects to Paris servers
  14. Disabling Geo filter works intermittently
