@Netduma Fraser - We appreciate you keeping up on this and hope you will understand our frustration. I will be the first to admit that at times, I have not been very understanding and/or happy with the level of support offered for such an expensive product. However, I imagine the frustrations are let out here simply because it does not fall on deaf ears. I have been girl doging about this router for what seems like years now and have learned a couple things along the way. I just call 'um like I see 'um and the way I see it is: - The complaints for the Netgear Router w/ DumaOS are far greater than the others. - The support you find here cannot be found with Netgear themselves at any price. - It is Netgear, NOT NetDuma who must approve the firmware for testing first. - If it was left up to Netgear alone, V1 of this router would have been abandoned a long time ago. - I can only imagine the people the people at NetDuma are about as sick of Netgear as they are of us screaming about it. - DumaOS 4 will NOT be coming to the XR1000 for reasons above. With that said, the people here are probably the only hope to receive one last firmware update for V1 of this router. They won't offer an ETA because it will come back to bite them in the ass even for problems beyond their control. Continue posting to show there is still reason/need to support this router with the understanding that it's Netgear that decides if and when a firmware will be released. Thanks for all of your effort NetDuma, we are all looking forward to this release. (As for the car manufacturer comment above... not sure when you bought your last car but someone has to actually die before they even acknowledge a problem with a new car, let alone fix it)
