Game.  No forwarded ports.  I did forward the ports to see if they worked and they did.  Nat type went to open.  Deleted ports and turned Upnp back on.  Reboot everything and back to moderate on game.  Console is type 2.

OK OK OK>...... kicks dirt.... I was wrong.
I have been probably the largest of all the babies and have been banned several times over.  🤬

I am here to say, I have an XR500 and own several R1s.  This firmware, even in it's infancy on the R1 hardware that we/ME bashed from day one (early adopter) is working flawlessly.
It actually works faster and the UI is more fluid than the XR500.  I think maybe netgear  only allowed for you to port over DumaOS so you're running over the top of their own firmware and that is creating some of the issues.  That sucks.  Netgear should just wise up and create the Netduma dept and build around you.
I just want to give credit where credit is due.
I still think your mods are a bunch of wankers and I think you really need to brush up on business acumen BUT that in no way casts a dark shadow on this DUMAOS.
At first I thought you guys were belly up and this was the last oorah, poking at us all waiting years for DUMA2.0.
    I WAS WRONG.
    Good stuff
The only thing I see missing is Ping Assist and Hybrid VPN.
Also there are a metric tonne of servers that are misplaced for BO4  PC/PS4/XBOX included
I am currently just making a list of good servers and bad.  Is there a limit to the size of our ALLOW?DENY list?
I'm sure you will ban me again.  I'm ok with that. But please answer that question and update the cloud asap.
ANd for anyone worried you won't get the firmware, don't.  I have several emails listed on the waiting list and mine was sumbitted before anyone ever posted to the forum. I received the email for the upgrade Oct 12th.  I am sure they are asking for your address to see where they are rolling it out being easier to recover modems form UK/OZ/and Europe.

That's the plan. We just sent out the next batch of 50, and we'll ramp this up as long as everything is looking good (which it is so far)!
We appreciate you would all like it in place in time for BO4, but making sure it doesn't cause issues is our number 1 priority so this takes precedence I'm afraid.

We are delighted to announce that DumaOS on the Netduma R1 has now moved to Open Beta! If you would like to take part, please complete this form: DumaOS for R1 Sign Up
Open Beta means the firmware is available to anyone who wants it, but to stay ahead of any potential issues, we will be rolling DumaOS out in stages on a first come, first serve basis.
The first 50 people who submit the form will receive an email with a link to the firmware. Once we know everything is looking good for this initial set, we will email the next set, gradually increasing the number of users each time until the full rollout is complete.
EDIT: The staged roll out is now complete. Thank you for your patience. If you have signed up but did not receive the email with the download link then please CHECK YOUR EMAIL SPAM (if using Gmail, also check your 'Promotions' tab. In the rare event your email program has completely blocked our email, please either sign up again using a different email address, or post here to let us know. If you have not signed up yet, please do so here:  DumaOS for R1 Sign Up
Reaching this point is a big step in the roadmap of DumaOS. We have some awesome features that we are already developing. These will be released in a series of ‘Milestones’ – we will be announcing more on this soon.
Many thanks to all our closed Beta Testers who have been absolutely amazing at getting us to this point. We couldn’t have done it without you guys.
Finally, a big thank you to all of you, the Duma Army, for your support and patience. We appreciate this was a long development road, far longer than we expected, but we never lost our resolve to bring DumaOS to you. We hope you love it.
    Thanks
    The Netduma Team

Sure - there's just a couple more steps to take, but at this stage it's extremely minor stuff. DumaOS is running extremely well on the R1. It makes us feel proud of the Mikrotik hardware if anything; it's clear that it still packs a punch!
Just to clarify, we aren't going to release a launch date or build expectations this time. After the last delay I hope you can understand why - instead, we plan on dropping DumaOS very soon unannounced. It'll be ridiculously easy to upgrade, just like installing any new R1 firmware.
Looking forwards, once you all have DumaOS installed you should consider it to be the beginning. DumaOS is cross-platform; any feature released for the Netgear routers should make its way to the R1 as well unless there are exceptional circumstances. This means fan-favourites like Ping Assist or brand new features will be released for you guys long into the future. There could also be unique features on the R1 version of DumaOS, such as an entirely rebuilt settings suite.
Please don't take my word as absolutely accurate, especially later on - I'm just telling you what I know personally. I wish I could tell you an estimate of when it could be launched but it'd be defeating the purpose at this point!

I'm still under NDA's for Netgear, that's the way it goes, I think its great new stuff is coming though all the time but as beta testers for Netgear etc you cant say anything at all. I also tested the XR500 from Netgears end in its final hardware format. All I can say is BIG__DOG is right here, keep the thread clean and don't go back into dissecting the where what and who's as its not important. Netduma make great software and I'm sure working with Netgear helped them help their costumer base even more and it probably gave them a needed cash boost, who knows its not our business but just be glad you have a firmware update coming your way finally.

We have some good news to share: DumaOS for the Netduma R1 is now in the final stages of beta testing!
As many of you know, this has taken so much longer than we anticipated, but our developers have now resolved all the major issues. This means that DumaOS for the R1 is stable and crucially, backwards compatible, so you can go back to the original R1 firmware if you prefer. A big thank you to all the beta testers who worked tirelessly with us to get to this point.
We are tidying up some last loose ends to make it ready for full release. We will let you know it is ready to download across all our media platforms. Be sure to sign up to the DumaOS mailing list so you are the first to know when it's out.
    Stay tuned!

As you've figured out they do appear on the map. If you use one of the devices does it switch to online?

We are investigating a similar issue with this so should have a fix incoming in one of the next firmwares.

It was.  He quoted me without any text from himself.  In the next comment, he put his thoughts. To be fair, most mods on other forums would have either deleted his post or edited them to a single post.

But he did have the first post deleted.

My thought entirely. If you are deleting posts that in you opinion have false information then why has the very first post in this thread by Netduma Luke not been deleted?. I quote "It should take, at absolute most, a few more weeks. Nothing more as we have everything else working"
If the goal posts have moved then give me one reason why we havent been updated.

    Not at all.

When things do go wrong, I explain properly to my clients in good time. I communicate with them, I empathise and try to feel their frustrations. If I don’t get the job done, I don’t get paid, so maybe I’ve got to be better?

What I don’t do, is tell them something is wrong, give a vague reason, set a vague deadline, then go into hiding.

Ok..so ive been reading every post on this topic today. Firstly for the people who are responding by calling people that are complaining about another broken deadline.. cry babies, you need to grow up. You have to acknowledge that Netduma over the last few years have done themseves no favours. No one forces them to give deadlines but they do, and inevitably fail.
I for one am happy to get the update when it arrives, but to come out with a lame excuse that the lawyers at the last minute decided that the Os has to be backward compatible is to me b*** s****.
The only reason the Os would have to be backward compatible is if Netduma are not 100 percent sure the r1 can fully handle the new Os.
To post last night at 9.38 that the update would be delayed( do lawyers in the uk work at that time of night?). Yes i am dissapointed like a lot of people, not so much about the delay but about leaving it to the last hour and giving us the people that help build this company such a lame excuse.
    Thats my penny worth
