  1. Hi im wondering if i can get beta access plz and thank you
  2. Afternoon, I got the R3 and never looked at the ports etc. Quick questions to the Devs / Creators if there on here. 1) Why did you stick to 1gbps and not 2.5gbps? Most internets now go upto 10gbps in the UK and I am just curious as to why it wasnt fitted with 2.5gbps. I have 2gbps network but can only use 1gbps now 2) Why only 4 ports? I am currently running wired 2 gaming PC's and 2 Stream PC's and thats all the ports done. This is probably the average use, would it not have been better to go 8 ports or even 5 ports? Just wondering if there is a reason for it all and if so why? Also will there be a updated Router soon with the 2.5gbps ports etc. If i was to Design a router nowadays id be looking at a 10gbps WAN with 2 10gbps ports and 4 2.5gbps ports
  3. Ive done that now ill give that a try tonight and see how it goes Cheers. I ran some speed tests and can see them on 'Axel' on the SmartBOOST so it must be setup correct just not too sure why its not detecting when i'm gaming etc.
  4. We are both on PC and we are both playing through battle.net
  5. but today i lost to everyone... Axel shud be priority. Not sure why or what is different between today and yesterday!
  6. Hi All, I got the R3 yesterday and yesterday it was SPOT ON... every game SPOT ON... 0 Lag, slapping everyone. I set AxelZ as priority and I was online on call of duty when this screenshot was taken.
  7. The ping test under load dosent seem to change no matter what % i set my QoS to, ive tried 100, 90, 80, 70, 60, 50, 40 and tried with Auto Detect and On.
  8. Ahhh, that makes sense then as to why it didnt work! Have I got something setup wrong or is the image below good? My two thoughts are Jitter - 0.23ms (Should this be 0ms) Ping under load - That spike in the download I have 1000mbps down and 1000mbps up.
  9. Hi All, This may end up being an easy fix and it may be pretty simple.. I think there must be a step I am missing! My current setup is as follows ONT >> XR700 >> EERO XR700 - 4 x gaming PC's and Eero's main hub connected. EERO - all wifi devices are connected to the eero due to mesh ability I currently have 4 devices. My two questions are as follow 1) Will putting the EERO in bridge mode be better? For gaming or having the EERO's set as just one device will that be better? Or is that what they call double NATTING. 2) I tried to put my eero in bridge mode via the app, they went into bridge mode BUT most of my wifi devices then couldnt find the EERO's I was told to make sure my XR700 in LAN is DHCP I have Use Router as DHCP Server ticked. Do i need to add my EERO as a address reservation? or should this work. Because it doesn't Cheers all in advance! Hopefully its an easy fix and i'm just missing a simple step!
