  1. Hi Liam, No worries, I appreciate the help. I've run setup and managed to upgrade to the latest firmware and, touch wood, seems ok so far. OK its only been 20 minutes but before it would have messed up by now. Thank you both for your help. It makes a change to get some decent support for once. P.s the newer firmware setup is a lot more intuitive, good work!!!
  2. Will do. I noticed in the Lan settings there's also IPV6 and a setting for DMZ with an IP. Do I need to enable DMZ and disable IPV6 within there as well?
  3. Thanks Fraser, I've enabled "allow access to tech support" and disabled "IPV6" within the WAN general settings tab and will check if the WAN IP is within the modem settings. I will reboot Sunday night before bed so it is hopefully running ok overnight and Monday morning. Do you need anything more from me WANIP e.t.c?
  4. Ok so it seems to go down every day. If I unplug the router from the modem > kill the power > reconnect the power > wait or it to boot up > then plug the modem back in, it seems to work ok for 12-24 hours. Then I have to repeat the process every day. I noted the time when it dropped the Wi-Fi connection and have downloaded the log file although I'm not sure if it'll have the relevant info as I could only log into the Duma OS once the modem was unplugged router booted back up again. Happy to send it over if it helps. PS I cleared cache and cookies and its still on the old firmware.
  5. Hi Fraser, Thanks for the reply. I've managed to get it working although I suspect its temporary(hopefully not!). I got it working last night and when I came back from work today it was broken again. I did the reset by holding the button in for 30-40 seconds then releasing. In case it helps anyone else in the same situation. I figured out that once I had done Duma OS setup it then dropped connection within 10 seconds then did the boot loop thing repeatedly as usual. I unplugged the modem from the R2 router then the Wi-Fi became stable again, which meant I could actually get into the Duma OS settings (which I couldn't do before as it rebooted before it would load). I set the DHCP lease time to 168 as you'd suggested in some of your other posts and it seems ok for now, fingers crossed it'll stay that way. P.S is there any other way I can upgrade the firmware as even with no internet and stable Wi-Fi it wouldn't work. I select update from 3 dots on right, select upgrade file, chose the DumaOS-R2-3.2.453 file, the bar moves across from left to right then stays on the swirly circle, modem reboots then goes back to the system info screen with the firmware upgrade box still present and still swirling and that's where it stays. I've left it running for over 30 mins and the only way out if is to refresh the browser after which I'm still on OS version R2 3.0.394. Any ideas?
  6. Help, Routers been working fine for ages. Suddenly it keeps dropping WiFi and Ethernet. I can get connected briefly but it drops connection after maybe 30 - 40 seconds. This happens via Ethernet or WiFi, I've tried multiple Ethernet ports. I tried updating the firmware to see if it resolves the issue but it disconnects too quickly and never uupdates (I'm running 3.0.394) I've tried setting my ip to static but I can't do it quick enough as it drops connection before I can get the settings on. I've done factory reset, tried with the modem connected or disconnected but it doesn't make any difference. The WiFi lights go out when it drops, it's like it's rebooting in a loop, power light stays on the 5g 2g and data lights go out, then gradually load up, it works for 30 seconds if Im lucky. I'm out of ideas, I think it may be a hardware issue. One thing to mention is that if I do a factory reset it works until the duma OS setup is done on the web browser, once setup it goes back to its boot loop cycle
