  1. Looks like Siege servers were down (Downdetector). So it was most likely issues on their side. Down again. Thanks for the quick reply.
  2. Hi I changed my geofencing to the below to only get EU servers. Now Siege won't connect at all. It will only connect when I switch filtering off, which means I can't get to EU. Any ideas why it would suddenly stop working now when its been fine since I last posted above? I tried removing the PS5 from the geofence menu and re-adding it but that made no difference, still can't connect to EU servers. I have added the EU servers as allowed, but no servers even show when I try to connect with filter on. They only start showing when filter is off. Edit: Tested again now this morning (where I live), and it connected. But this was after more than 20 attempts today. Last night could not get on at all (way more than 20 attempts). 20.23.198.162
  3. New ID, dedicated host: 4e0319e4a0ed3c41 Edit: Another new dedicated, India: 976868330536262b
  4. Sure. I closed and opened the game a lot to look for different IPs, all provided below. Just a note that it does not load into the geofenced servers every time (referring only to Siege). Sometimes it's straight away, other times I have to keep opening and closing until it connects. I was watching the map when this happens but no icons were popping up on the map. 7bcb9964681a7f84 6914935eb108a1a6 470421eca1e6e2e7 80c0dda85d1fa3a8 0b037843a0aa3c41 d003f3bea06f3d42 381405d0b1d73e43 4e0319e4a0ed3c41 (added 10 Jan 2023) 976868330536262b (added 10 Jan 2023)
  5. Thanks for this advice. I had to reload the game twice more, allowed those servers, and now it works perfectly. So, in total I had to allow 3 IPs. Thanks again.
  6. Thanks Fraser. I did this and allowed the IP, that appeared in the auto ping window Didn't fix it. Still can't connect to Siege EU servers.
  7. Hi. I'm hoping someone can assist with this new issue to connect to a game server with geofencing rules active. I recently started playing Rainbow Six Siege again on PS5. I do not live in the EU but I would like to play on EU servers. I activated geofencing, which is the same geofencing rules I use for COD MW2 (with no issues). But SIege won't connect to the game servers at all when I have geofencing on. It blocks access to all modes in Siege. The error message is: 3-0x00040002 What do I need to do to fix this, or is this a fix that needs to be done on Netduma's side? Below is a screenshot of my geofencing rules, which as I mentioned above, work perfectly in MW2.
  8. When I have geofencing on but PS5 chat blocks a friend outside my geofencing boundaries, must I switch auto ping off and then manually accept/approve his IP from the list under the geofencing map?
  9. Hi thanks for the speedy reply. I got it working like this: AX3000 (primary router) to WAN port of R2. R2 LAN port to PS5 (so my PS5 has a 192.168.77.xxx IP whereas the rest of my devices have a 192.168.31.xxx IP). My PC is connected to both the AX3000 and R2 so I have access to both admin sections - 192.168.31.1 (AX3000) and 192.168.77.1 (R2)
  10. Hi I need help getting my R2 geofencing working when the R2 is not my primary router. I tried it as a primary but could not get my Xiaomi AX3000 mesh network to connect to the internet, so I reverted the AX3000 back to primary duties. Also, I don't need the QOS features. I only need the geofencing so I can play COD on EU servers (this is my only use case, and the reason I bought the R2). I need guidance on the following please: Must I cable from the AX3000 (primary router) LAN port to the R2 WAN or LAN port? (not sure which). I did a factory reset, dumaos has a LAN IP on my network but I can't access dumaos at all, don't know why. What must I do to access dumaos? When I type the LAN IP (192.168.31.xxx) it does not work. Also typing dumaos/ does not work. Which are the important settings to change on dumaos once I can get in? My primary router handles DHCP, so must I switch R2 DHCP off. Also I was not able to change the R2 IP from the .77 range to the .31 range that my network uses. It gave an error about WAN and LAN needing to be on different ranges (or something like that) I assume I would then plug my PS5 directly into the R2? Hoping I can get some guidance as I spent an entire day on this yesterday and pretty much got nowhere. I'm not quite sure what I'm missing to get it to work.
  11. Thanks. This makes sense. If you see the screenshot below, I removed the bottom right window in error. How do I put it back, or will it appear automatically when I go into a voice chat?
  12. Can you explain how I do this step by step please? I'm having difficulty understanding what to do exactly. I have 2 gaming buddies that this is happening with. One is located in the UK. I don't understand why there is an issue here, as I have UK geo-fenced? The other is in South Korea. With both these friends, voice comms works fine when we switch to game voice (COD MW2). The issue is only with PSN PS5 party chat. I don't understand exactly what I must do to fix this so I can chat to them in a PSN voice party as usual. The only way I could fix it was to remove the filters, but that defeats the purpose. Edit: I did look at the geomap when this was happening. Some info flashed on and off the ping section at the bottom, but it was too quick for me to see it or do anything with it. Also, I did not know if the info flashing was for a server or for my buddies. It's a bit confusing to me, but I am probably missing something I need to do because I'm new to DumaOS. Last night I had auto ping on. I turned it off now, but I don't know if it must be on or off. Edit 2: While troubleshooting further, I removed the bottom right ping window. I don't know how to put it back?
  13. Hi this issue has come up again. I'm not able to talk with a friend in PS5 party chat. He lives in South Korea. I'm in South Africa. Below is my geofencing. Any idea how I can fix this? We can chat via game comms in COD MW2. Haven't tested Overwatch 2 yet. But not being able to use PS5 party chat is quite an issue. Hoping it's just a config thing on my side?
  14. Referring to Overwatch 2. Will update here when I test it. Thanks!
  15. It's working again. I removed the PS5 from the geo-filter map and re-added it, but with the manual option. Working fine now. Have no idea what the issue was but all is well now.
  16. Here is a screenshot of my new geofencing setup:
  17. Thanks I will be able test today, but why would OW not work properly? One of the reasons I bought the R2 was to be able to play OW and COD with a friend in South Korea. The idea was to test if the R2 would make it so that we can meet on EU servers (which is close enough to half way between us). It worked perfectly on COD, tested last night. Before DumaOS, we could not play COD together because one of us would be on 500 ping and the other on sub-50 ping. I hope it will work on OW as well. Will test later.
  18. Hi I had to reset my router last night and reconfigure my geofencing. Everything seemed to be working fine until I created a party chat on the PS5. Kept getting network error messages on the PS5, but I could chat to my gaming friends fine in the game chat (MW2) although Overwatch game chat didn’t work. I noticed this seems to be an ongoing issue with DumaOS. Can someone help me with this please? I need PS5 party chat to work. I realise that this has something to do with my gaming friends being in regions I have not geofenced, because we don't want to play in servers in these areas (South Korea and South Africa). We want to play on EU servers, so SK and SA regions are intentionally not geofenced. I read up about whitelisting or putting strict mode off but I don’t understand what to whitelist, what is the recommended option? I read that strict mode should be on to honour my geofencing rules, so I don't want to turn it off unless this is advised to fix the issue.
  19. Thanks. When I added my PS5 it also asked "what game are you playing?". I selected COD. So based on your reply above, when I play Overwatch for example, which is a lot, that game selection doesn't matter?
  20. What does this mean? I don’t quite understand what a games console service for a geofilter is (yet)? Also, could you explain how I can filter multiple games? I’m sure this is a basic question, being new to DumaOS, I’m still finding my way round a bit.
  21. Is there a way to save profiles or a way to handle these use cases and easily switch between them: Two different geofilters, in my case: a profile including SA and EU and Bahrain; and then a profile without the SA area included. Two or more different games: I have the filter on for COD but I also play Overwatch and some other games. I see no way to switch between different games easily.
  22. It's working now. I'm impressed with the UI and overall experience - even moreso with the troubleshooting help and support. Thank you.
  23. Thanks for these steps. I followed them exactly and then tested in game but it still finds only local servers. I did this test 3 times to make 100% sure it was not a random result. My intention is to use the geofencing to force a connection with EU servers preferably. The game now connects to the local servers in my country even though I do not have my country geofenced (South Africa). I also tried to re-resync the cloud from the Geo-Filter Map Menu. I'm not sure if I am configuring something wrong on my end or if it is something else I am missing when setting this the geofencing.
  24. I see now for the first time, the blocked server icon? I assume this means the geofencing blocked the local servers in my country? This would mean the geofencing is working, but not quite as expected (for me). It's stuck at searching for a game under 39 ping, but when it can't connect to the servers, it's not extending to EU servers as I would have expected.
  25. I set ping assist to 0 but it still find me local games even though I have not geofenced my country. Any advice how to get the geofencing to work?
