So now that I’ve been using this settings for a bit. I still do disconnect in all devices but I’m not disconnecting as much. However on my Xbox if I use 5 GHZ my connection disconnects quite a bit. And I know it’s not the console because I used 5 GHz on my Xbox at a friends house just fine. My phone doesn’t work on 2.4 ghz at all. I just get a no internet connection and have to use 5 GHz. Any ideas for a fix?

Well I spoke too soon I was just playing Rainbow Six siege and got disconnected again. And for my phone it says I’m connected but nothing works on 2.4 it won’t do anything online.

So the disconnecting has stopped so far but now my phone is unable to connect to the 2.4 Ghz band. Do you know how to fix?

1.No 2.The router SSID would reset so I would be unable to access it so I assumed it was a factory reset 3.Model number is 2151014848-O5L5 it’s a default modem provided by spectrum. About the fix you provided I have enacted it and will tell you if it fixes it!

My router has been consistently lagging and disconnecting. Then today my router has fully wiped itself to factory settings and wouldn’t let me log in without factory resetting. My speeds are slower then what they used to be. I am getting kicked from online games due to the router deciding to not connect to anything for a 1-2 minutes at random intervals. Anyone got a fix?
