So the only way i can play and not have issue is putting a secondary router on the xr1000 and then putting that router into dmz other than that i get connection issues either ingame or party is it safe to have it setup this way or what do you recomend? If im correct as long as the secondary router dont have another device with dmz activated the firewall on that router should still do its job right?

I start getting double nat and half the xr apps wont work .

Yes they are both xboxes i do have geofilter on one of the consoles but its on do not filter should i delete the device entirely from geo filter?

Ive been researching this for days now i want to say ive tried almost everything i could think of and have no luck we both get open nat we just cant seem to join the same party we can join games together but the chat wont work it keeps kicking one or the other.

So i have my isp modem in bridge mode i use the xr as the main router already

Forgot to say also tried that have had it on open for a while now.

So i have to consoles that when connected to the same router we cant seem to get into a party together have tried opening up different ports for each console have tried one on dmz have tried upnp and still no luck any help would be appreciated i have a Xr1000 .

Next time this happens instead of a factory reset download dumaos to your phone and delete the device threw the app and it will fix that issue for you .

I did a factory reset via router button and setup and havent had a issue so far 24 hrs now I tried disabling dhcp after setting a reserved ip but some devices like ring and camera devices wont connect including andriod devices will connect but redisconect non stop until i set up static ip on the device setting but ring and camera dont have that option so i had to enable dhcp again.

No they all remained in the same type of connection from when i gave the reserved ip

Yea i have all the devices on reserved ips and for some reason disabling dhcp makes it to where nothing connects unless its hard wired . And even then devices like firecube wont detect the internet even tho they are hard wired.

I tried that but nothing would connect. Idk its shows its setup but no device has ipv6.

yea I tried that and still disconnects.

It is set to dhcp and cloudflare dns ive also tried comcast dns but no matter what it stops working.

it will work for about 15 minutes after it is set and then after no device connects to ipv6 address this just started happening after this hotfix update .

so ever since the new update XR1000 1.0.0.72_1.0.62 the ipv6 started to break again on the router is this a known issue or is my router just not working properly ?

Is there any update to this issue ? I need to factory reset my router, but if i do that my netgear armor will turn off and then i wont be able to turn it back on, since none of the apps work on the router at the moment . I keep getting the device not found on qos and i used to be able to fix it threw the mobile app with out a hard reset by deleting on the app.

yea I turned on the wifi turned on the armor and then turned on anywhere access and it works fine now on the app . is it safe to have that on tho? Or should i just turn on the wifi and turn off the ssid broadcast that way it hides the wifi and i can still sign in when needed?

So I have a question what would be the best way to setup my xr1000 as the main router and orbi as a wireless extender ? I know xr1000 isn't mesh compatible so what would be the best way to just use it to extend my xr1000 range ? currently i have the xr as the main and the orbi is in access point mode but, for some reason I can not use the nighthawk app to connect to my xr1000 since i turned off the wifi on the xr and currently only use the orbi wifi and it will only pick up the orbi on the app . I am able to connect to the xr threw the browser but i want to turn on my armor and be able to use the nighthawk app
