Did you do a factory reset after the update as that is recommended. If not please do so, then wait 5 minutes before accessing and it should load correctly for you to add your device to the right hand side.

Particularly when its a firmware update rich in changes, it's best to start from a clean slate. Apologies if that's caused any inconvenience but glad to hear it's working better for you now!

No - didnt do that ...
Since then have done the reset (wouldnt work off the menu system so had to do hard reset) ....it failed to restart properly and had to switch off/on foir it ..then the interface looked weird (colour palette and menu items missing) , 3 resets and switch/off on agains and it appears to have worked ..
Bit of a faff though ... never had to do a factory reset after a firmware update before on kit , that usually sets it back to how it came out of the factory with old firmware on it ...
Anyway all working now thankfully .. thanks
