This product is in beta idk who thought it was ok to release

Probably ipv6 if in your pc disable that. If they are loading slow on non pc devices idk -
Not gonna lie after a few games it went right back to not so good so idk. And @DARKNESSi know cheaters are running wild atm I’m only diamond 2 in resurgence ranked and my son is plat 3 and we half our lobbies are crim and iri players usually and most are cheating from what I saw last night especially. We did get a win against a team of the #3,4,7 top 250’s though so it ain’t like we are bad and call everyone cheaters but it’s to a point there is quiet a lot of them at these ranks so joke, almost every crim and iri I’ve seen are literally chasing people down with absolutely no knowledge at all with some of the hardest aimbot chest lock you’ve ever seen. And just for reference we tuned into warz stream if you want to check out someone I think is cheating as well he was the number 3 top 250 we beat and watched about 3 games they at least call in a bunch of uavs but (could have been his stream) glitching constantly he was on a 90 ping basically locking on to people across the map or at least shooting at every single person wether it was 20 or 150 meters away knocking some from that distance with better hit detection then I get on my 13-15 ping so idk

If you have to ask that you’re not a gamer I play on a 5k pc Ethernet cables of course

I love my r3 but I’m not going to lie that something is seriously wrong with it and the hit detections. Some days I get decent hit detection then others just plain poopy. The last weeks or so it’s been so dog poopy I’m losing the most unrealistic gun battles to the point I thought it was just my internet itself but I just switched back to my Asus gt ax11000 pro and I’m getting hit detection I could only dream about.

Sorry but you’re absolutely working here there is no delay in the slide cancelling mechanic if so it’s not noticeable if you use tap to slide(haven’t tried the hybrid option which I heard was the same) But he is right there is a micro lag when going from standing still to a tac sprint or slide canceling. @AdisBakmy question to you is are you are you using the latest nvidia driver? Because I think that was what was causing it not the netduma. I was experiencing the same issue until I went back to the previous driver.
-
Was kind of laggy for us in the us to but I’m not sure if it was the internet/servers are the nvidia driver that came out on the 19th which I had just recently updated to any only played a few games since then. I reverted back to the previous driver and played a few last night and it didn’t seem to have those small stutters that seemed to happen every so often the last couple days. But I haven’t really checked in int duma interface and the in game ping at the top has been n/a all season so I couldn’t tell if the ping might have been jumping up or not.

Rebooting the router did seem to make it go back to normal though so idk what caused it to do that. I’ll have to keep an eye on it and see if it lowers again at any point. Best to reboot the router every day anyway right before you play or your games will play like crap anyway in my own personal experience
-
Not to sound rude but are you even understanding the issue? Because the first thing you advised was to try setting it to 30/30 when unless I’m missing something the lowest you can go is 50 on the sliders and even if you could setting it lower decreases the available bandwidth not the other way around.
-
Lowest you can go is to 50 but that’s not how it works. 70/70 means 70% of 1gb which should be in the 600’s close to 700mb. edit.. tried 50/50 and lowered it by around another 70mb even at 100/100 it’s getting right below 300mb for some reason so something’s not right.
-
I have my sliders set to 70/70 but when running a Speedtest it maxes out at right below 200mb of a 1/1gig connection. It wasn’t doing this previously and when I turn Speedtest bypass off it gets the normal speeds. 70/70 of a gig isn’t supposed to be around 200.
-
I’ll try that but going by google the requirement is on the same same wifi network so I would have thought that meant both connected to 5ghz for example.
-
I’m not sure which ones they are on tbh I’ll have to check. I don’t have the bands split but I think sometimes it connects some to 2.4 and some to 5.

Was screen mirroring from a iPhone still not fixed in one of the previous firmware’s?
-
In the promotion videos the first one in particular it was saying or made it sound like only around 5ms would be added but it seems like on mine anyway it adds more even though I only fluctuate by 1-2ms. It don’t really seem to hurt I guess but it’s something I noticed. The only major issue I saw and it’s a weird one is with valorant, I did a lot of research and the issue is caused by internet somehow but it would take forever to load me into the games don’t ask me why but that never happened and still didn’t happen on my sons pc but just even loading into a 1v1 made it take 2-3 mins on mine and in game the connection felt super jittery and choppy compared to normal . Lucky for me I don’t play valorant anymore and was only going into a 1v1 cause my son thought he could beat me.
-
I agree but all the videos about steady ping seem to indicate if you only ping only increase by 1-2 let’s say you start at 10 but it fluctuates by 1-2 making it 11-12ms at times then steady ping is still going to help you and will remove all jitter and stuff so if that isn’t the case all those promotion videos for steady ping are kinda misleading.

I don’t claim to know anything about networking but what I’m stating is 100% a fact and is caused by netduma routers somehow. But since you know so damn much please enlighten me how I can switch between an xr500, Asus Rog rapture and my isp router fine but if I plug a r2 or r3 up and let it route my internet for an extended period of time then try to switch to any other router I get no internet and takes hours to get it working right again. I’ll wait.
-
I have did that. Only happens with netduma routers. Anytime I try to switch back I can’t. Nobody is going to tell me otherwise. I have switched between various routers for years and this has only happened with the r2 now the r3. rebooted every device( one that had been off for days) tried 2 different routers certain devices will connect others won’t. While connected to the internet on my pc earlier on my Asus Rog rapture(meaning it would load sites slowly though ) was finally able to access the Asus interface and couldn’t even update the firmware because it said I wasn’t connected to the internet. same poopy happened a long time ago and I completely shelved the r2 for a year or 2 because you tried to tell me the same thing. I believe I fixed it then by leaving everything disconnected for a few hours then plugging an old router back up. But to say that can’t cause it when it 100% does is bs.
-
If you are getting an f you don’t have something setup right or your internet has issues that this router will never be able to fix. I don’t even get an f with no qos on any router.
-
I would like to know why after using the r3 when I try to switch over to other routers nothing works. Like switching to my Asus Rog rapture half the devices in my house then won’t connect to wifi, maybe 1 of 2 devices will connect to either wifi or lan and the ones that will stuff loads so slow you can’t do anything. Can’t connect to the Asus admin tool or anything. I’ve had the same issue after using the r2 previously. This has only ever happened after using a netduma router.

When is the NEW Firmware that FINALLY FIXES ALL these issues!?

I second that definitely a big upgrade in wifi performance from the R2 -

Yeah but you don’t get an r3 for wifi performance if you want something like that get an Asus Rog rapture which I also have, has like 8 antennas and great wifi performance as well as good gaming performance. You should be getting the r3 specifically for the gaming features it brings. -

My wife is the only one in our house that plays on WiFi just because I haven’t ran the 50 foot cord from the router to her PlayStation since I have it in my gaming room right next to me and hers is across the house and she still don’t experience that many issues on Fortnite besides the occasional higher then normal ping with the yellow/red x that comes up which I’ve seen happen even through lan. -

Are you even adding each individual game into the geo filter and attaching your pc to it? This has to be done for each individual game from my understanding. Also the geo latency option has to be unchecked or it will still connect to outside servers in your circle or fence. Now the disconnects I can’t say I’ve experienced anything like that on the newer firmwares and only happened a couple times on the old firmwares. So yeah if that’s happening that’s a problem but tbh I don’t think a lot of you know how some of the features are designed to work or just aren’t selecting the correct settings. Like the geo latency for example that’s been advised multiple times on the forums you can be connected to outside servers in your circle but yet I still see multiple posts of it happening and they have it selected. 🤷♂️🤷♂️🤷♂️ yeah it needs some fixes but it’s not as bad as people are letting on and I get better hit detection then any router I’ve ever used including. The r1, r2, XR500, xr1000, and a damn Asus Rog rapture that was like $500 bucks.
