  1. Thanks for the replies. Well Talk Talk completly screwed up and following placing the order on the 1st the cancelled it on the 2nd without telling me (Or BT) and i only found out Thursday (Due to go live on Friday). I called BT and they said i could resign with them and my service would not get cut off, it did. Long story short i should be getting it activated again but a lesson learned about dealing with Talk Talk i think Thanks again
  2. HI All, I was with BT but changed to TalkTalk and it is supposed to go live today. For some reason they have cancelled the order (According to my online account) but checking on their forums this is common but the account still goes live. My BT has cancelled so i have no BB and TT have not delivered a router. I have an R1 running DumaOS that i have not used for a while and a BT modem. Is it possible to setup the R1 to work on TalkTalk with the BT modem or do i have to use the TalkTalk router and the R1 in the DMZ? If anyone could share the settings it would be appreciated. I found these but can not see where to enter them on the r1 Setting Value Username We use automated network authentication so there is no need for a username. You can leave this blank. Password We use automated network authentication so there is no need for a password. You can leave this blank. Transfer Mode/Loop Encaps PTM VLAN ID 101 MTU 1500 DNS Set as automatic (or similar) Priority 0 Authentication DHCP/IPoE
  3. Good luck, I have been suffering this for months and have done all the work arounds but with no joy. It seems to have started to happen more so i've just decided to disconnect my R1 until the new software is released to see if that sorts the issue. In addition to that mine has a really slow interface (Tried all the work arounds but it keeps coming back) and it keeps applying the profile with the sliders set to 60% rather than 100% on it's own randomly. I will probably put it back on when WWII launches but at the min the agro is just not worth it. Shame because I have had the early adopters edition from the 2nd batch of releases
  4. Hi All, Tried it again and no joy, I even deleted the X1 from the R1 (needed a reboot to allow this) then rebooted it again. Still coming up as IPv4. I will wait until tomorrow to have another go as the Mrs and the kids are usnig the internet at the moment and 2 reboots had already cause a 24 year old to melt down
  5. I gave this a go yesterday but could not get it working. I wll give it another go in a but but it still keeps coming up IPv4. Should I have UPnP on and port forwarding off? Will it still work if i am not able to put the modem into bridge mode and have the R1 in the DMZ as this is Sky and the R1 does not support its type of connection thanks
  6. Hi All, OK so i have a Sky Q router at the moment that supports IPv6 and when it was installed i had the R1 not connected and the xbox was given an IPv6 address so i know it works. Since then i have installed my R1 in the DMZ of the SkyQ router and I am getting an IPv4 IP address on the xbox and have an open NAT. My question is that i see an option in the settings on the R1 that shows i can enable IPv6. Will this give me an IPv6 address as all devices are connected to the R1 so not sure if it supports it in this way? IF anyone can let me know what the IPv6 compatibility is with the R1 Thanks
