I just got the Netduma router in the mail yesterday, and am trying to play Street Fighter V with it because of some popular Youtube channels saying that it really helped get good matches in fighting games, and originally it didn't help at all.
I realized that while the matches themselves are peer to peer, there are servers that have to do the matchmaking, so I have had to figure out which connections are these servers and whitelist them manually one by one. It's extremely time consuming and getting very frustrating. The servers are all located in the same general area of the United States, but they pop up as a yellow triangle only briefly. The more servers I whitelist, the better my experience has gotten, but half the time when I get in a match, it doesn't even show where the other player is on the geolocator. It's actually still connecting me to people on other continents.
Since using this router, I've gotten the worst connections I have ever had in this game against people from Australia and South Korea, even though my geofilter is set to only allow the southwestern United States. Any time there is a bad connection is the time when the geolocator doesn't end up showing their location. On the other hand, I have also had some of the best connections ever, which is the times that it actually shows where they are. It seems to me that for this game to work properly, I need to have all of the matchmaking servers whitelisted. This seem to be connected to whether or not the geolocator can find and block the bad connections. But the problem is I only have half of the servers so far, and I've been at this for like 4 hours.
There was another post about this around the time Street Fighter V launched that I could only find through google, and in that post someone gave the IDs of all of the servers, but there doesn't seem to be any way to input them manually, and instead I have to sit here for hours on end waiting for them to pop up for half a second so i can click on them and whitelist them. These other servers that I don't have whitelisted are popping up more and more infrequently with every one that I add, but based on that other post I have found, I have only whitelisted 18 out of at least 40.
Is there anyone who has already done this process and made a profile whitelisting all the proper servers that I can just import? Or do I have to sit here and do it manually for all of the other 22 servers?
I've tried searching the forum for any user made profiles, but I can't find anything.
