NetdumaR2 Losing Connection Randomly

I have been dealing with this for about a week now where my internet cuts out randomly from my NetdumaR2. The only way to temporarily fix it, is by rebooting it whenever it loses connection. & manually or else it won’t come back. I’ve already updated & factory reset it. Also did the 168 hours lease time & im still having trouble with this and it’s getting really frustrating. Please help me fix this issue

It’s random it could be a few hours or 15-30 minutes. And it occurs on both wired and wireless devices. I have spectrum. They are not the problem I don’t lose connection on my spectrum modem/router at all it’s only my NetdumaR2. I already had a specialist come and check everything and it’s all okay and working 100% fine so my NetdumaR2 is the problem.

I'm not saying it is the modems fault, if you have a pure modem that is directing all traffic straight through to the R2 and your public IP is changing frequently then that could possibly cause it if the R2 isn't able to re-establish the connection

You can't. They are in the EU and I would hazard to guess they are asleep currently (damn, it sucks being human). Be patient and just work through the problem with Liam and Fraiser. They are great devs and honestly don't need to be helping us but they give to their community. I am in the same boat with dropping connection but eventually they will like take manual control and change some settings and it will fix

Damn I didn’t know that. Thanks 🤝 hopefully they just take control and fix it but at least you just lose WiFi connection I lose connection in general, wired & wireless it’s weird hopefully nothing is wrong with my NetdumaR2

I am hoping its just some IP setting error with my issue because I do not have the $$$$ to buy a new netduma. And I really dont want to go back to the old ways before I had this router.

Yeah hopefully man hopefully! Yeah this is the best router I’ve ever had. Boosts my internet by a lot I was getting 90 Mbps at best before now I get like 490+

Are you able to get to the DumaOS interface when the disconnection occurs? You can do this by going to 192.168.77.1 in your web browser.

When the issue occurs,  can you please go to the DumaOS interface and go to System information. From there, download the log file from the three-line menu in 'Logs'.

If you could make sure you do this before you reboot the router that'd be great, as the logs are lost when the router loses power.

Send the logs over and we'll take a look if there's anything untoward in there.
