Can't access router settings at all

Recommended Posts

I've turned R2 on, and tried to connect to the settings using http://dumaos/ as well as tried using the ip address 192.168. 77.1 and neither work or even prompt me to login. I also just see two flashing lights (see picture), though I can access the internet itself through the router. I'm hard wired into the netduma as well. The light on the far left is always solid, but the other 2 lights just constantly flash. I've tried resetting at least 3 times by following netduma's instructions. Help, please.

Good afternoon fraser, my router has the same problem, the light that corresponds to the internet, is blinking and sometimes completely turns off, when I try to do the cmd ipconfig procedure, it does not work because it appears as without a network, but when removing the cable of the router and connect directly to the operator's modem the internet picks up normally. I believe that netduma r2 has some problem with firware.

If you put 192.168.86.1 into the web browser, what does that take you to?

Can you provide a screenshot of what ipconfig shows please?

Se você colocar 192.168.86.1 no navegador da web, o que isso leva você?

Você pode fornecer uma captura de tela do que o ipconfig mostra, por favor?

same thing as the friend above, it's the same fraser problem.

Could you repeat yourself in Spanish please as I think something is getting lost in translation. While connected to the R2 via ethernet, do the ipconfig and post a screenshot of the results - even if it shows the same as above

so fraser, the light that corresponds to the internet on the r2 modem, just keeps flashing, and when it tries to fix it, it goes out, when I type ip config or appears 192.168.0.1 or when it goes out, disconnected media appears (and the symbol in windows, it is not connected.

So it looks like that is the page for my google wifi router.. I have the netduma connected to the google wifi router via ethernet cable. The idea is that I would use the netduma for just my gaming computer due to the poor wifi performance and range of the R2. So in order from the internet company (spectrum), internet starts with a cable modem, then goes through google wifi router, then connects to netduma R2 then connects to my pc. All connections are hard wired connections. The thing is that this configuration had worked before, but the netduma got into a weird state where internet wasn't working, so I had to reset it and ever since then I've had this issue.

see how it is now fraser, and the internet light on the power side, goes out on the r2 modem often, I can't access anything, and if I put that ip in the browser it also doesn't solve it.

It's acting like a switch instead of a router which is why it's showing the Google router there. You'll need to do another factory reset as per the instructions below and then try accessing it.

The IP you're getting there indicates you need to factory reset the router, hold the reset button for 30 seconds, release, wait 2 minutes then try accessing the router interface.

fraser, I did what you recommended, but it seems that the router does not reset, I made several attempts and nothing, what do I do?

Unplug the router from power for 10 minutes, then plug in, wait 2 minutes and try to access it please

Hi Frazer, I just did that and it is still not working. I've tried to follow that reset method several times before and the router just does not reset. I've NEVER owned a product that refused to reset.. this is pretty frustrating.

fraser did what you recommended, but it didn't work, I only run out of internet if I connect to netduma r2, there is a problem with it. Before it was working normally about 1 month ago, I went to use it today and this is happening, the modem does not reset, it never happened, fraser see with the support, something happened.

so fraser i just sent the email according to your instructions to replace my netduma r2, Fraser there is no other alternative? Because if you fix it, you wouldn't need another one, since I live in Brazil and it takes time.

Yes that would be best, the only way is to keep trying to factory reset as I described above/reboot, there is no other way you will get it back up and running.

Sim, seria o melhor, a única maneira é continuar tentando redefinir os padrões de fábrica conforme descrevi acima / reboot, não há outra maneira de fazê-lo voltar a funcionar.

Good evening fraser, I took a long time to answer, because I went to another residence to test the modem, but it really isn't working, it doesn't reset anymore. I checked the email I had sent and you already sent a new one to the carrier, at the time of delivery do I just need to return my old correct one? Will I not need to pay anything, not even the correct freight?

Give me a shout over email once you've got the new one and confirmed it's all working, I can then organise a collection of the old one for you.
