So I use not sharing always and I have 120 down and 10 up and I put my series x to get 65 of that and 2 up when I play. And from I see it’s the Ethernet sometimes WiFi very rarely.

You have share excess off? I wouldn't recommend doing that, the devices may not be getting enough bandwidth which may be why they appear to be disconnecting. Re-enable that and see if it still occurs.

Ok thanks I will try that. My question when I leave that enabled it seems to keep everything running at Max down and up am I misunderstanding how this works?

If you have your sliders set to 100% in QoS then yes, that will be the case!

Ok so let me ask you this when I set my series x to have 60% of the download with the slider at 40% it keeps me at 46 down on series x and everything else in the 40s. Again if I’m not understanding how this works please explain. Is so that my console will run in the 40s all the time so it’s more stable? Then everything else gets what’s left over?

So basically Congestion Control will do the throttling of the speeds if you have share excess enabled. Having share excess enabled will allow any of the devices on Bandwidth Allocation to receive 100% of the throttled speeds if they need it. If they need it they will take the bandwidth from other devices that don't etc. Does that make sense?

When adjusting Bandwidth Allocation percentages:

Share excess off = a hard limit, devices cannot take more than they have been allocated - they also can't give any extra bandwidth they're not using to other devices.
Share excess on = a soft limit, devices can take more than they have been allocated if they need it - they can also give extra bandwidth they don't need to other devices.

Ok so if I’m understanding this correctly with it enabled and let’s leave the sliders on 100%. If I’m playing on my series x and it starts noticing I need more it will take it from other devices even tho those devices are in use? And should I adjust my series x at all on the qos? And should I add my series x to traffic prioritization.

Yes it will - if those devices don't need all their bandwidth. I usually just recommend leaving bandwidth allocation at its default settings. DumaOS Classified Games should prioritize the console, does that light up when playing?
