Destiny 2 Geo-Filter getting useless in february

Just want to let you know that these assigned ips from google (also known as googleuserid) for destiny 2 users will be implemented for EVERY console player in february (also known as the announced DDOS protection).

Situation: when loading into orbit, the player gets one or more temporary ip's from google for authentification. The ips switching like every few seconds/minutes. If the ip is out of range of the geo-filter, it wont connect. Typically, the ips are located in united states, africa and australia. They're shared with many users, so if u allow one of them to get a friend into your fireteam, theres a high chance that a random guy also get this ip and connects to you.

Its currently live in the game, but only for some players. Beginning in february, all console players will be forced to get googleuserid's.

Please forward this to the dev team.

Geo filters will not only be useless for pc (current state), but also for console.

If this happens, you can finally delete the entry 'destiny 2' from dumaos geo-filter.

Interesting, I have come across some of these players with blocked IPs in recent weeks. They don't show up when you select them, just keeps searching. They still show up on the map though so hopefully still be blockable for using the router as intended.
