lockit14 3 Posted October 23 [Here are the continuous test and speeds](https://imgur.com/a/TV645zZ) the near 30 download speed is when I hardwire bypassing r1 straight into PC. (Also calling ISP to figure out why i even have that low of download) The 8 download speed is when using the R1. Along with a pic showing what my actual download is through speedtest. Any idea why i'm losing so much download speed when using the R1?
Netduma Fraser 7,552 Posted October 23 What R1 firmware are you using - DumaOS or the original firmware? Either way have you put your expected speeds into the bandwidth settings?

Netduma Fraser 7,552 Posted November 6 What is the ISP you're with and what modem/router are you using as well and how have you set the R1 up with it? E.g is it in modem mode? Do you have other devices connected to the ISP hub?

With Plateau Internet I have an ONT (provided by ISP) with ethernet connect from ONT to the R1 No additional router since i thought that the R1 was the router? I replaced my old Netgear r6400 with the r1. Ethernet cable from the R1 directly into Xbox One and My PC. Not sure what modem mode is exactly
Netduma Fraser 7,552 Posted November 7 Okay that's interesting. Could you set the R1 MAC address to the MAC address of the previous Netgear router you had? Occassionally the ISP can take a little while to get used to a new router and slower speeds are given during that time.
