WHY IS MY 168.1.1 PING HIGH PINGING GOOGLE??

Recommended Posts

Wondering why my Ping has serious packet loss for 192.168.1.1 on ping plotter, pinging www.google.com, I pinged 192.168.1.1 alone seems to have a lot of jitter but no packet loss, I have Fiber internet 1000 MBPS up, and down, with XR500 43-50 ms base ping, any answers will be greatly appreciated.

Are you doing these tests wired or wireless?

Someone from netduma will reply later today, bare in mind it is 02:20am here in the UK where netduma is based so it is going to be quite a few hours before a response is given. I would help but I need to sleep!

Hi Boldshoter - could you try each of these and rerun the test each time to see if it fixes the problem:

1. Power your XR500 off and then back on again

2. Switch your ethernet cables out for new ones (this has the look of a faulty cable)

3. Try using a different LAN port on the rear of the XR500 in case you have a faulty port
