Looking for help!!! At wits end. Here's my configuration: Arris S33 Docsis 3.1 to Cat6a to Netduma R2 Blue internet port on router. Have bypassed internet detect after issue not connecting to internet and tried turning DHCP on/off, turned off IPV6 for LAN/WAN. Currently on firmware 3.0.205. My XR500 can detect connection, why can't the R2. I had to go back to Xfinity cable after trying to use the R2 with Centurylink fiber and not being able to use VLAN tagging due to router not allowing it in it's current configuration and reading threads from a year ago of priority and in the next firmware update. Would love to use the router I bought for the features it provides. Please provide direction on how to connect with Xfinity cable in the Pacific Northwest.

Hello everyone! Just got my NETDUMA yesterday and already enjoyed some improved gameplay on WWII, so naturally I want to see how much better it can be. Console: XBOX1 ISP: Xfinity Download: 45 mbs Upload: 12 mbs Location: Midwest, USA Saw pings around 12-25ms Alright so I would like some clarification on a couple of questions. I have been doing my research for sure, but I am getting mixed answers. I am currently getting the "we detected another router" message so I would was thinking about adding my wan ip into the DMZ of my isp Modem Router, but this leads me to my questions. Does the "We detected another router" message matter if I have an open Nat? (I used to always get "open", didn't retest after setting up netduma with geofilter off) Is putting my wan ip into the DMZ "Safe." I understand the Netduma has a firewall, but is it considered adequate protection. Is there any point to this if you leave UPnP enabled? (I saw someone who suggested using Port Forwarding for xbox live and leaving UPnP enabled in the netduma.) Is there any drawback/benefits to port forwarding vs UPnP other than attempting to achieve an OPEN NAT How good is 12-15 ping? Is there any benefits to bridge mode? I shut off the WIFI of my xfinity router/modem, but did not put it in bridge mode. Should I give my xbox a reserved IP? I am well aware that you can google bridge mode, DMZ, UPnP and each term, but I have read for hours now and am still having trouble how they all relate to each other, which is preventing me from finding the right balance for my setup. Everything is working, but I am just trying to maximize my experience and knowledge. Thank you all in advance for time spent answering my questions.

Is the Netduma router compatible with speeds of 1000mbps download, I recently upgraded my modem and service, luckily they offer 1000mbps. I tried setting it in the router and it will only save as 275mbps. Will I get the full 1gbps or is the device going to throttle that? (I have the netgear cm1000 docsis 3.1 modem). Thanks, Ron

I'm in NE USA-within 100 miles of 4 major cities with populations of 1million+ residents (NYC, Philadelphia, Baltimore, Washinton DC). Within that same area, 6 more smaller cities with 500K to 1 million. Bottom line, heavy Internet traffic, slow connection. Etc. Enter Netduma. Biggest change, in addition to the Netduma, was returning my Xfinity WIFI router/modem, which was why I had initial problems keeping stable connections, and 2, up to 5 minutes waits for a match. Any Arris router/modem for Comcast/Xfinity WILL NOT BE COMPATIBLE WITH THE NETDUMA R1. Your initial connection will be fine, half through matches, the ARRIS takes over.. Now..$40 USD, I added the Linksys CM3008 Ethernet modem. Now, my ping looks like this... My first COD IW online game......31-8 WOOT..
