  1. Hello this is how I get a triple A+ on the Netduma R1 I look at my modem speeds I then calculate 95% of that speed for the upload and download I then take off a Half a megabit for upload and download i then enter these speeds in the Netduma r1 I hit update no several times I don't think it a glitch it just the more you do it the better it seems to work I have my congestion control on reactive and 99% for the upload and download and I get constant triple A+ on DSL reports. This is how I work out my speeds I enter this into the browser. 95 % of 44.00 Which gives me a result of 41.8 I Then take off half a megabit Which you enter like this - 0.50 Into the calculator where you entered 41.80 Which gives me a final result of 41.3 You do this for the upload and download my congestion control is on reactive and the upload and download 99%
  3. Hey Netduma comunnity! I´ve been playing COD since the launch of the first one, all the this time has been a constant learning about connection, lag, lag comp, servers, netcode... some times It look´s for me more like a engineer than a gamer. Now it´s time to ww2, I´m now 170´s master prestige, so I´m so frustrated, why?, it´s simple, yesterday after some hit markers and 1 kd and lower ratio matches (my average in this game it´s fine 1.79) I decided to go to IW, I love that game (improved a lot since launch). The experience was flowles, every single match was a nuke chance, reached some high killstreaks almost 70% of the matches... etc. I´ve been improving my connection this last days, I´ve bought a XR500 Nighthawk, fiber optic, connected straight to the ONT-XR500 (no ISP router), I´ve changed old thernet cables (now CAT 7), and some config´s than let me play at 4ms to Madrid (Spain) activision dedi server. So, what´s happening to WW2 if I really noticed my high broadband quality in one COD and it´s not happening in the las one WW2 COD. I think that weapon balance is broken (did you see the shotgun with insendiary shells?, they kill you in one shot from 100 mtrs!, so the killstreak is more difficult to reach) , there´s a netcode issue that randomly make me shoot first and die first. What do you think about it?. am I the only one? Have a nice day
  4. I was messing around with the Geo filter in netduma trying to figure out why sometimes I would get amazing games and some were just laggy and horrible. Someone mention on the forums that you should enter the headquarters before playing or looking for a public game. The reasoning behind this, so you will be able to connect to dedicated servers which is weird. I thought we are automatically connected to the dedicated server no matter how we start our game, but by doing this it was an amazing connection. I was connected to a Texas dedicated server and you would know this because it's a huge single circle, it would say temp band, and also it would sometime be the only big circle on the Geo filter. The gameplay was amazing, I even achieve my first V2 rocket. To stay on that dedicated server I had to stay in the lobby. If I tried to leave it would eventually search for another game and 5 out of 10 it would put me in a peer-to-peer lobby or another dedicated server. I even tried temp band most server and just connect to one. That doesn't do any justice on trying to consistently connect to the dedicated server. COD WW2 just really throw us all over the place when it comes to connecting to a dedicated server. I didn't have the netduma before black ops 3, but I knew bo3 wasn't bad when it comes to connecting to a dedicated server because it would tell you at the top right corner. I have to sometimes just back out of games until I get on a dedicated server. What are you guys opinion on the subject?
  5. Hey guys, New to the forum here. Just picked up my Duma during the Black Friday sale. I am losing my mind right now trying to find good settings for COD WW2. I have a gigabit fiber line (1k up & down) and I feel like I am remarkably laggy in 95% of my games. I live in LA (Los Angeles not Louisiana) and with geo filtering set to between 500 / 600 miles and strict mode ticked, I'm often connected to hosts 2500 to 5000 miles away with player pings ranging from 150ms to 550ms and I've even seen up to 1000ms when it connects me to servers in the UK. I'm a hardcore player but I've recently started playing some core game modes to watch the kill cams and see how someone killed me that wasn't on my screen. In the replays, other players are standing in front of me, clear as day and it looks as if I'm an easy afk kill. I've tried every setting I've found suggested on the forums and everything I've found on youtube. The issue is I can't find much info for fiber setups and if I do, it's people with speeds around 100 down and 10 up. The only thing so far that has occasionally given me decent games is to massively throttle my connection. It's not enough to do it with the CC sliders though. I have to change my bandwidth to 100 down and 100 up and then drop my CC sliders way down. I've tried reactive & preemptive and always have super turbo off so I can utilize CC. Router is on the newest firmware, system is hardwired, ports are forwarded, NAT is open and I live alone so the only other device connected is my laptop running nothing but the netduma router config page. Issue remains the same regardless of if I'm playing in a party (hosting or not) or playing solo. Any input is GREATLY appreciated. Let me know if you need more information. Im an IT so I can ramble on and go level 10 nerd if it's helpful. :-) Thanks! PS4 Pro - COD WW2
  6. Can somebody help me with this issue please... I will play a few games of call of duty WW2 back out of a lobby and try to join a new one, every so often it will struggle to put me in a game and say widening search lobby but my geo filter prevents that and everytime it does that my whole internet connection disconnects ethernet and wifi withing my household for about 5 minutes which is very annoying Is there some kind of fix for this and can somebody let me know if there is. Thank you
  8. Please try to use this thread for your WW2 opinions, good and bad, what you'd like to see change, etc. It will make it much easier to read through the support threads that actually need support if they don't go off topic. Thanks.
  9. What I'm going to try to do is start to compile friends in the western US so we can create a community to play together on p2p connection, even it means having a series of rotating private matches using our own homemade matchmaking or if you already have local friends-clan mates we can arrange matches-scrims on various days-nights or weekends to avoid playing on these toxic servers with horrible matchmaking and lag comp. I believe this could work for others as well who are having the same issues as me and many of my friends that live in rural areas. Just last weekend I met enough people playing locally on the p2p system we made a whole lobby with just people from my state, and we have more cows than people in my state lol. The games we played all weekend were low ping for the most part with few migrations and the odd higher ping player, everyone had really good connection and hit detection. People could even use social media to organize groups like all of the Face Book yard-sale sites lol. Just an idea I was kicking around to try to save what could be a fun game, maybe even agree not to use some of the more troll like weapons. This game can be fun, last weekend proved it to me and reminded me why I fell in love with online gaming back on PS3 when Resistance and MW2 were my go to fun games. Let me know what you guys think or better yet add yourself or start a group yourself. ltr7 PS4 Northwest US Charter-Spectrum ISP Cheers!
