I have the circle around the server I’m wanting to connect too, ping assist is 0 I have allowed the server, Resynced the cloud restarted my console and even restarted the R2 and it’s still not even showing up on geo filter when I start my game, is there a way I can fix that? A lot of servers aren’t showing up for Cold War when I start the game only like 5-6 show

I'm trying to figure out what settings I need for my setup, I feel like nothing really changes with bullet registration or connection, doesn't matter if I have r2 settings on or off (70/70 geo filter etc) I feel like everyone has better connection than me, I die against every weapon like if it was a sniper, literally feels like I'm getting one shoted with every weapon, dying behind walls etc... really tired of messing with this and buying so many things for everything staying the same, i have bought early adopter r1, xr500 and now r2 and sx10 switch, do i need to mess with port forwarding or dhcp or anything? Please help, I really appreciated.
  4. I just got my XR500 today so am still learning the DUMAOS, but one thing I notice is the time is incorrect under 'System info' and the 'logs'. I google the issue and seems others have reported the same, but, they were able to correct the time by going to 'Settings ---> Content Filtering ---> Schedule', and from there they see an option near the bottom to change the timezone. Of course murphy's law though for me, no timezone setting there. Was the feature removed in the latest version of the OS? My OCD is going bonkers and I really want to correct the time 😫. Resetting the router also didn't work. Time settings in Win 10 are set to auto update/sync and are correct on my PC.
  5. Hi Netduma Support. Windows 10, Netgear XR450, DumaOS Name: A7Legit, Firmware: V2.3.2.56 My apologies if this topic has been suggested before. I did do a search for it but there were no results. Current backups appear to be encrypted. It would be useful if a 'readable' backup of settings could be exported. The purpose for which would be for when applying a new firmware version and subsequently performing a factory reset. The backup would help users to restore their various settings. I realize that each settings page can currently be saved/printed but a central backup file would serve users better. Thank you for your consideration. -Kevin N
  6. To everyone and anyone with ANY knowledge of DumaOS and the nighthawk XR300, help a fellow gearhead out! Brief backdrop of my current situation. Just purchased a CM700 modem and an XR300 pro gaming router to escape xfinitys stronghold and limitations. I’ve always had an issue with xfinitys hardware! All their modems/routers were “defective” which resulted in poor connection, multiple techs sent out to my home, constant device swaps. So I took the initiative to escape that misery. I was so anxious for my new hardware. Tried optimizing settings on DumaOS but no luck! I game on a PS4 Pro which is hardwired to the XR300. I live in Illinois. I mostly play Fortnite. ISP is Xfinity/150MBPs. My issue is, Geo filtering doesn’t work. Ping is high 30’s. Before I was getting 20-23. . When I try to configure settings via Geo Filter I’m shown “Nil 2.5” “Nil” with an adjustable bar. And under that “Nil” with a checkmark. I pinned geo filter to my dashboard to monitor my ping and it doesn’t measure my latency/ping, for example I should be shown “12ms”, instead it’ll indicate “Nil”, no actual values. Someone, anyone, help! I purchased these for the sake of optimizing performance! I feel like I’m not getting the most out of my new hardware! Also, if anyone can suggest specific configurations/settings, it would greatly be appreciated! This is all very new to me! Thank you to you all in advance! Looking forward to your replies! Ozzi

  8. So got the router and a new modem (xr500 with netgear 3.1 docsis) set up was fine pc is connected via lan cat 7 cable. However my smart tv, laptop and phone are experiencing abnormal amount of lag vs my crappy old lynksys ea6350 before I could press an app and it and all content is loaded, now say I open speed test it will take up to 2 min to detect I have Cox internet and another 16 seconds average to find a server. Opening youtube will do the same app opens but it hangs on a blank page for an excessive amount of time before showing me content. I have ipv6 set up ip address is dynamic given by Isp, I have used ips dns and used dns benchmark to find the best dns servers (google, time Warner then 1.1.1.) I have two filter set up only for my pc and antibuffer scores a consistent A+ ping to Google is 25 ms I'm using 90% of 550 mbps data and I have tried giving Wi-Fi devices 50% or the auto 20% speeds yet speed test always says a device reaches 400 mbps (via wifi) I just don't know what I can do about it. Any suggestions anyone else have this problem. My phone now runs faster and more reliable with one bar of LTE....

  11. So I wanted to create a thread for those out there in the community who have found a process or particular settings that "ACTUALLY" work for them in WWll. Yes, we cannot control isp, line through home, or modem etc.. I'm strictly referring to setting within the Netduma or mtu and dns settings entered directly within your system. If you have "secrets" to unlock the magic or what not, don't be afraid to share your knowledge please. I think this could be beneficial for those who are struggling to have something they can at-least try so they don't break anything in their homes due to frustration!!!! lol (I'm serious though 0_0) Thanks!!
  12. Hi, I am a new user to netduma after reading all the great review about lag reduction in games. Being a avid 30 yr old gamer (when work and family permits) I was Experiencing a bit of lag, more recently with cod iw with those very annoying symbols on the left hand side. I have the 200mb virgin package but more realistic get about 95 down and 25 up. I bought the netduma and followed the steps and guide provided including putting my virgin super hub into modem mode. One note though is due to the house layout I have to use the netduma to Xbox one wirelessly rather than wired, however the latency from the router to the Xbox one, was more than manageable (about 40ms). I then applied the settings that are advised by netduma. However I noticed I was still getting the lag, more than usual. After extensive research on google, netduma forums and youtube (mainly sims and some other guy I can't recall) I went on dsl reports to do some testing. I got my 'buffer bloat' down to a B (best I could get it) by lowering my congestion control levels to 70/70 as suggested. I tried all the permutations I could think of and 15/20 gave me a buffer bloat of A but the rest D's. I then ran a speed test and I was getting 25 down and 4 up. I then ran cod iw and played a couple of games and the lag experienced made it unplayable. I have tried prioritisation for my Xbox and without and have tried turning on share excess and off. I don't actually know what else to do other than switch back to the virgin super hub and return the netduma (which I don't want to do). I am 80% sure this is probably my error, not netdumas and something simple but I can't seem to get my head around it. I can upload whatever you need to, wether it be screenshots or test results etc. Any help would be much appreciated.

  15. Hello all and any feed back is appreciated. I recently upgraded my modem from arris SB6190 that I bought 2 months ago to a TP-Link 7610. My game plays have improve tremendously with my current setup. I have cable from wall going into TP-Link Modem>Netduma> Asus 66Ru router (Wifi Only) AP Mode. My question is when I try the recommended setting 70/70 congestion, I still lose gun fights that I should be winning. Yesterday I tried something that (I am Mod Box) said in another thread and lowered my congestion to 25/25. The game play was 95% lag and jitter free ( went 37-2). I did a speed test (speedtest.com) and my connection said 16mps down and 1.95 Upload. Had about 15 games where the lag was barely notice. Question(1) With me lowering my connection this low and having a second router, will it effect anyone else trying to stream movies or youtube. Question (2) is this connection still to fast the reason Im still having slight lag from time to time. I pay for 110down/10up, but only get 65/9, so that's what I put in my bandwidths settings (reactive algoth). This is the best my connection has been since buying this modem, but still have inconsistency from time to time. Infinite Warfare is the game im playing.
  16. Hi: My NetDuma cannot connect to the internet (wifi or hardwired). When I tested a Netgear Nighthawk X4S it was able to connect to the internet both wifi and hardwired. I have been in contact with someone from NetDuma via email, but I figured I would use the forum. While connected via Ethernet, I am able to connect to the Netduma interface. WAN settings currently are: WAN MAC Address - Disabled WAN VLAN - Disabled IPv6 - Enabled MTU - Enabled PPPoE - Disabled WAN IP - Disabled Any help would be greatly appreciated !!!
  17. Well, with my new upgrade in plan package with my ISP, i had to figure out new settings. My old settings wasn't working at all with my new plan change! But, I found one that works great for me, try this out see if it might for you as well.
