Recently just receive my Netduma R2. I’m having trouble setting it up. I have 1000Mbps down and 25 up. My problem is that I can’t get anywhere near close to that. Even hardwire either on my PC or PS5. I only get around 30mpbs. Is there something I did wrong during the set up?
Hello everyone, my name is Anthony and i recently purchase a Netduma R2 for my household. I quickly realized that once i put my ISP router/modem in Bridge mode that the Wi-Fi coverage in my home from the R2 is quite bad. I live in a bungalow style home built in the 60s. My bedroom in the corner of the house is where i have the R2 stationed, as that's where my setup is. I really want to be able to use the amazing features of DUMA OS, but I need good Wi-Fi coverage in my home as well. Should i maybe put my ISP router/modem in another mode other than Bridge mode such as DMZ (although I don't quite know what the pros and cons of that mode is) or should I look into Wi-Fi extenders or perhaps use an older router that i have as another access point? I would really appreciate the help. Thanks in advance, Anthony Potamianos
I just moved to japan. My wife is japanese and has ordered gb internet. The guy came by and installed the fiber. Then my wife says we have to wait on router to come in mail from ISP before getting on internet. I take a look at what the ISP guy did, Theres a modem with a ethernet out on it. My wife doesn't understand this stuff to explain or ask ISP but i told her i have a router i that should work. Long story short. Im on the connection now with my laptop connected straight to the modem (wired). It will not work with cord going to Netduma R1. I performed reset and not working. Any help is greatly appreciated. The router coming isnt going to do anything different than what my duma will do, right? Additionally, google site works, it searchs. Netduma site works but some websites im getting the below message: This site can’t be reached www.speedtest.net’s server DNS address could not be found.
