I’m just wondering how it works I guess, I’m on channel 153 and it says 74% but 157 says 84% does that mean that’s how full it is? also for 5ghz channel should I put channel width to auto?

So I know this is a weird question but shooters shoot am I right? I have bell fiber the 1GB down and 750 up with a netduma r2 but I don’t have a desktop nor laptop that can achieve those speeds not even close neither from WiFi or Ethernet so running a Speedtest to put into QoS bandwidth speeds so I put random numbers in, I had 730 download and 696 upload for the network settings. I was wondering what should I realistically put in to achieve my actual full speeds I ran the auto detect on the R2 and it gave me 850 download and 720 upload. Should I leave it as that or should I put in my 1 gig down and 750 upload? confusing to my walnut brain : also to add on is there any network settings I should have turned off? I have IPv6 turned off both general and WAN. Allow ping, port scan, and syn flood are enabled, should any of those be turned off?

I’m installing security cameras soon and don’t want to put them on my main network. How do I do this with an XR500? What’s the best way to do this?

Hi All, I have an XR450 as my only gateway/router (replaced FiOS gateway) connected directly to FiOS ONT on a 1GB connection. I have multiple Netgear switches and a LinkSys Velop mesh wifi network with 4 nodes. All 4 nodes are on a wired backhaul to a 16 port netgear switch (12/16 ports are in use.) The switch connects to the router. Pretty straight forward set up. Literally all devices show up as wired. My old FiOS router showed me which devices were actually wired and which were connected wirelessly. Is there any way to fix this in the XR450? Attached is the screenshot. As you can see, this view is not very helpful when trying to use the network map to manage devices as the network is not actually mapped correctly. Any suggestions would be appreciated!

I have an R1 behind a Nighthawk 7960p and I am considering running the R1 as the main router. I don't have any issues running the r1 behind the nighthawk however I do see that constant download and upload speeds on a speed test are throttled. I just want to use the geofilter right now. Would you guys recommend using the R1 as a main? Just not sure if it's more powerful or will it handle everything? I also have an Orbi system I can use. I have tons of gear. Gig internet 50 up.

Hello this is how I get a triple A+ on the Netduma R1 I look at my modem speeds I then calculate 95% of that speed for the upload and download I then take off a Half a megabit for upload and download i then enter these speeds in the Netduma r1 I hit update no several times I don't think it a glitch it just the more you do it the better it seems to work I have my congestion control on reactive and 99% for the upload and download and I get constant triple A+ on DSL reports. This is how I work out my speeds I enter this into the browser. 95 % of 44.00 Which gives me a result of 41.8 I Then take off half a megabit Which you enter like this - 0.50 Into the calculator where you entered 41.80 Which gives me a final result of 41.3 You do this for the upload and download my congestion control is on reactive and the upload and download 99%
