Is there a fix for this? I recently purchased my first Nighthawk/ XR series / NetDuma router a couple weeks ago. Spent mad time setting it up to get it right. I updated the firmware, manually to XR1000 126.96.36.199_1.0.49, since the router never detected an available update. Afterward I kept receiving an error (picture), that says: TypeError: undefined is not an object (evaluating 'i.generateKey') I was advised (see link to Netgear post) by netduma guys on that forum to reset to factory defaults to clear the issue, and not to use a configuration file because it would reload whatever the problem is. The issue is persisting after the reset. I don't know what else to do but it's a real pain in the ass. Netgear Post: Re: Firmware Update Failed (RX1000)
Once the errors start, more follow. These are a few, I'll add more as time permits. I'm not here to bitch and moan. I really am excited about this router and it's OS. I want it to work and succeed. Thanks, Rob
Hi, I purchased a Nighthawk XR700 a few days ago. I went through the setup process and accessed the DumaOS UI on a few occasions to fine tune the settings. I made sure to update the firmware straight away. After about 4 days of use I can now no longer access DumaOS at all, I have cleared all history on several occasions, tried various browsers, tried different computers, tried command prompt (which also won't show ipconfig), tried factory resetting the router and trawled the internet for a couple of hours for a solution and nothing works. Can somebody please help! Many thanks
