  2. Hi All. For all those of you out there that are experiencing unresponsive XBOX's, there is a world wide server issue causing your xbox to look black and unresponsive, no dashboard also. Your xobox is not broken.
  3. Hi, My Xbox doesn't ever disconnect but my other Xbox in my home always disconnecta randomly whether it is wired or wireless. It also does this to my phone. I have tried everything, it didn't do this until recently. I have factory reset as well.
  4. As right now i can see games like: Uncharted 4 Destiny Destiny 2 Last of us Halo: master chief collection Halo 5 Titanfall 2 These games dont work well with the Geo-filter, they either kick you out of the match or wont even connect to a game, Uncharted 4 has major issues it creates lag.
  5. Hello, I just installed the Nighthawk XR500 router in my home. I have an ISP modem (sky sr102) and nothing except the xr500 is connected to it. All devices in house connect to xr500. My Xbox one X is connected via cable to xr500 and NAT is open as I set my xr500 as a DMZ server in my ISP router and XBOX has static IP. My group filter is not working and the screen shows no hosts on the map when I'm playing games like Destiny or GTA. XBOX device is listed as XBOX in devices. Geo filtering is set to spectate, profile is set to Destiny and yet I don't see any remote hosts or ping detials. The screen just remain blank. I am using Chrome browser also on a Mac so no issues with browser. I have the latest firmware as the router installed it automatically yesterday. Please can you help with the configuration of geo filtering and let me know why it isn't working?
  6. Hi! What are the current recommended settings for Destiny 2 on the Xbox One? The threads I've been able to find via search are all pretty old (2017) and it looked like there were some new things being worked on. I think I'm just using the default settings at the moment and I see a node in UK all the time (I live in Australia). It makes the Ping chart useless because it's always showing the ping to the UK which is high (300ms). Thank you.
  8. Hi All, For the last two days I've been getting DDOS'd offline on my Xbox One X. (I play Call of Duty WW2 and my ranking encourages dislike from other players.) The first time it happened was at halftime during a game of domination. Since then, my console has been randomly losing internet connection. Below are logs from my XR500- does anyone have experience with this? Do I need to do a factory reset on my Xbox console? I've turned UPNP off for the time being, but I'm not sure if there are other settings I need to enable/disable on the XR500. 9. Hi everyone, All is well if I use a Samsung TV, but if I plug in some small computer monitor with DVI-D input, via a connector adapter, I get nothing. I even tested by plugging the cables directly, without the HDMI splitter, it works fine. One of the monitors, a Fujitsu-Siemens P15-1, reports "frequency out of range" when the cable comes from the splitter. The other kind of monitors, iiyama ProLite PB1705S, doesn't do anything and goes into stand-by mode. I wish I could specify the model of HDMI splitter, but it says nothing specific on it. General things like 8-port HDMI Splitter, made in China and there's a barcode label. Power is 12 Volts. I'm ready to replace it with another one, but how do I know if it will work with my monitors? I can only think of seeking local used ones and trying it out before buying.
  10. So I wanted to create a thread for those out there in the community who have found a process or particular settings that "ACTUALLY" work for them in WWll. Yes, we cannot control isp, line through home, or modem etc.. I'm strictly referring to setting within the Netduma or mtu and dns settings entered directly within your system. If you have "secrets" to unlock the magic or what not, don't be afraid to share your knowledge please. I think this could be beneficial for those who are struggling to have something they can at-least try so they don't break anything in their homes due to frustration!!!! lol (I'm serious though 0_0) Thanks!!
  11. Hello I cant get my xbox 360 live to work when using my netduma, when i use my other routers it works. Im pretty IT savvy. i've tried all of the tips i know and have read, set a static ip, open all the ports, use different profiles, and setting a dns of google dns. I have the static ip on both the xbox and the router. ill ether get a dns error on xbox diagnosis or a live error. Any suggestions?

  13. Hi Guys, So, with Destiny 2 dropping soon, i'll be back on Xbox One. I know full well I'll have the Strict/Moderate NAT type I've always had on their since the Duma. I must be doing something wrong, I have forwarded all the ports, I play Xbox without UPNP enabled yet I still get the strict/Moderate NAT. I've attached a couple of images with my settings. Can any of you shed any light on how to get Open NAT with both Xbox one and PS4 (The PS4's NAT is Open already)
  14. I take it this is really bad? This is when using the Duma, need to test straight from HUB next. For any of you that play Destiny, whenever I'm in an online event my connection bar is the lowest.I take it my ping plotter results is the reason why?
  15. A few people have mentioned having a tournament/league on IW, so let's do it. It's going to be individual rather than teams, free-for-all, gun game, something like that. If there's much interest then we'll expand it to other game-types. It's on Xbox One, because I want to play and I don't have a PS4 (feel free to have a PS4 competition too, I won't sue). Anyone that wants to play then post an excited sounding response below. This is not an official Netduma competition, there's no prize except bragging rights, obviously if you beat me and you brag about then then you'll be banned from the forum. We're probably better off separating timezones to an extent because it'll be a pain in the butt to organise matches otherwise. Campers will be branded with a permanent "I'm a camping pussy", or similar, signature. If you have any preference/ideas on the format, then stick them below.
  16. I've had the Netduma for quite a while, and realizing that I never set it up properly. In fact, I think it is all set up wrong. I've spent a majority of the day looking at settings, and I'm really OCD about this, and its starting to make my brain hurt. Hoping someone can help me. First, let me describe my layout and what I plan to do. I have: Spectrum Internet 50Mb down 5Mb up (modem is in bridge mode) Netduma - PS4 pro, xbox one, PC, and linsys Gb switch with PS4 (a different one), retro pie attached, and a few devices connected to wifi I'm going to be starting a Youtube channel and possibly Twitch. I will be streaming both console and PC games. I also plan on playing without streaming, and also just general use. Needless to say, I'll need multiple profiles. Right now, I have deep packet processing checked for some reason, but not using Hyper-Traffic. I have my PC and PS4 Pro set to around 30 in the flower,a those are my primary devices. I haven't adjusted any sliders. I think I'm also set to Reactive instead of Pre-Emptive. No DMZ or IP Forwarding settings. Need 1: Playing PC games, especially CS:GO I just started getting into PC gaming, and addicted to CS:GO at the moment. I plan on doing more PC gaming, both online and offline. Need 2: Console Playing This is what I do the most Need 3: Livestreaming console games I will be doing this a lot. I will be connecting my consoles to the PC through the Elgato HD60Pro with live commentary. Need 4: PC Gaming with livestreaming Same as 3 but with PC games Need 5: Just normal use I live alone except some weekends when my son stays with me. He watches netflix a lot, but never had any issues gaming while he was watching TV. Can anyone help me come up with the best settings? Thanks
  17. I am having occasional slowdowns of my wired Xbox one connection. I use ATT Uverse with 20Mbps/2Mbps, I have my xbox one hardwired to my modem/router and have opened all the necessary ports and created a static IP address. I have an "open" NAT. I use google DNS. When things are functioning properly the xbox network test yields 20 Up and 1.4 down. When I experience slowdowns in game, this same test shows 1-2 Mbps Down, less than 1 Up. When I use speedtest.net on my phone which is connected by WiFi it shows normal download speeds of 20 up and ~2 down during the slowdowns, suggesting it is something with the wired connection to my xbox one. The slowdowns would happen every 30 minutes or so. I tried disabling IPv6 and this seemed to decrease the frequency of the slowdowns. Now happens once every 1-2 hours. I only notice the slowdowns when gaming on xbox one, as streaming videos or long downloads do not seem to have the problem (or I don't notice a problem). The slowdown lasts from 30sec to 4 minutes then goes back to normal. Thanks in advance for your help.
