Hello everyone. I would like to solve my severe lag, hit detection and desync issues on warzone and other online games. I have a very low ping if I play on Italian servers <35ms and always <65 on other servers. But my ttk is much higher than the ttd, I get a super bullet and die in an instant. Then when I see the killcam and I see that the enemies have seen me a long time before and I often shoot empty even in the sky. When I shoot I don't miss shots but I happened to lose fights with people who were not shooting at me and were reloading the weapon. Obviously I use a good ethernet cable, the connection is excellent and I formatted the whole pc. I've tried using the factory settings and it doesn't change much. For me it is impossible to play so it is as if the enemies have 500hp and I have 50hp. I tried to change mtu to 1492 (my ideal mtu) to use it automatic, i changed dhcp connection with ppoe but the results are always bad. Help me resolve please I'm desperate. And as a last question I would like to understand how to prevent the game from always directing me to servers other than those I want to force with geofilter. I would like to play on the Italian server, to find other Italian people like me and it would make everything much easier. My friends find many more Italians, both those with 0.5 and also those with 2.5kd
Well I bit the bullet and I am giving the Xr500 another chance. If I put the PS4 in the DMZ will the router still do what it is intended to do with the anti bufferbloat and QOS prioritization settings? Or does the DMZ override all that? I will work with you guys and see if I can actually enjoy everything this has to offer along with enjoying my games!
I've been trying to specifically limit my PS4 vicariously through my laptop... So, I've been trying to find the sweet "buffer bloat" spot by testing my laptop in various settings... unfortunately I can't set a fixed speed for it... Capping my upload & download for the purposes of streaming isn't a viable option because I stream at 1080p @ 8Mbps. I have FIOS 300/300 and it would only make sense that I should be able to set apart something similar to a QOS. If I cap my UP & Down at 80% My Primary Router is the Netduma R1 and all the devices go either directly to the Netduma or connect via an 8-port switch to the Netduma. It seems like a poor design to not be able to set a finite speed, also I was considering having a 2Gbps line run... I noticed that the cap can go no lower than 10%... trying to achieve this prompts errors... According to the link on the bottom of the page, 11 months ago, you folks were going to release a feature that allowed this on the "next update"... I'm sure we many many many updates into the future... Not trying to blast anyone here... just trying to figure out how we CAN truly make this the BEST gaming Router in the World. At this point I'm simply better for the money with a Nighthawk... QOS seemed to work better for me when I was using it as I could use QOS on a per device basis... and it was set it and forget it... http://forum.netduma.com/topic/14374-feature-request-limit-uploaddownload-to-specific-speeds-for-specific-devices/
Hey there, 2 weeks ago I did a hard reset to my netduma, Everything was working fine before but I was trying to troubleshoot a problem so i made a hard reset for the modem and for the netduma. I set everything back, named the devices and redid my profiles again. The problem now is, whenever i "Restart" the router it forgets the names and even the devices that logged on it previously. All other settings are remembered, just the devices are gone and of course it gives me an error when trying to upload a profile since the devices that it should prioritise are not there anymore. Any fix ? Thanx
