I am not going to do all that, as you have sold this item @ £250 - and then beta tested it on us user.
Sorry but I think this is the part where realise the DumaOS software is nothing but a placebo effect (go look on reddit etc).
I will get a refund, if I cant do that I wont buy another product from Duma again or recommend the product to anyone.

Thankyou, all it is is some servers need white listing. Hopefully this doesn't take too long. I like dumaos on the r1.

With Ping Heatmap we're trying to test a lot more games etc so I will ask the team to do this as a priority.

with my r1 i ended up connecting my headset to my computer and using the xbox windows 10 app for party chat and it worked perfect. little bonus you get to hear people rage in game chat at the same time now when they die 😃
but yeah only fix for this the team at netduma needs to catch up with the xbox software. i have mutli xbox's and the one that is not on the preview program finally got a update and it has the same problem where no one can hear and you cant hear but it lets it connect

I am also having challenges with the R2 that I also had back when I tried the xr500. The xr500 almost seemed to be giving me slower speeds on my Down\Ups, I eventually took it back and went with a different router. Then I got the R2 some days ago, guess what......it acts just as the xr500 did. It is as if the R2 is bottle necking my connection. Before you ask for screen shots, did I reset it, did I have all my checks done......Yes and then some. Yesterday I had my ISP tech here and he tested my line from the street all the way to my modem, and everything was as it should be. I have spent so many hours trying to get this thing to run stable, QOS on or off, using every option in the OS to hopefully get my full connection or for it to be stable with nothing to show from my efforts. My only question is how do I return it for my money back?

Good to know. I signed up with beta release but got no email about it? Once 3.0 is out I'll give it a try.
Confused as to why this other guy on the thread is going on and on about NAT issues and static DHCP on the LAN side. Ridiculous.

Hi mate aussie broadband customer here also on fttn. Its the xr500, aussie has a 30 minute dhcp lease time for the wan and the xr500 is too aggressive which needs a setting like Asus has. Ontop of that, my testing shows that if you have your bridged modem connected to the xr500 wan during a reset, any of the devices connected to the xr500 can grab the wan ip before the router does. Im waiting for the next beta to come out and if its not fixed, the router is going back. There's just to many issues with it.

Hi, this is fixed in latest xr500 beta dumaos 3.0. So a fix will be coming for everybody soon. I opted for a static ip but its still distributed via dhcp so no dice. Yep a bug with the xr500 caused this now i don't have any dhcp drop outs even when rebooting via the gui. Hopefully dumaos 3.0 becomes stable soon.

Yep agreed. Too many assumptions and not enough proper evidence. Just alot talk to be honest. Like the cod upload speed measurement has nothing to do with how good or smooth the game will run. It's a snapshot of your upload speed to that server at that given time lol anything could cause it to drop or raise due to traffic in or out of your own network. The point is this is a load of crap.
Mw runs smooth when it wants to regardless if you use duma router or not. Regardless of what your tick rates say lol its all to do with cods netcode and lag compensation. Have no other issues with any other games in regards to this.

I’ve said this all along, lag compensation is the problem.
Modern Warfare is too generous with it just like WW2 was.

There is ALREADY people testing and I know what BETA means and it will be on me to take or not take the chance of using it. Is not like it is working awesome right now, so there is not much to lose is there?
Anyways, I considered the R2 when I got your email but now, I do not see myself wanting to go through this type of frustration again at this point. Maybe when you guys fix your priorites but not right now.
At this point, send me the email or do not send me the email. I am tired of waiting and arguing.
    Regards

Thanks for the info. A cloud update wouldn't affect this if the Geo-Filter is not being used. There will be a new build likely this week for the XR500 beta, could you let us know if you see it in the new version?

Yes it will be. A Netgear developer confirmed on the XR500 forum that they have identified the issue and will be available in one of the next beta builds.

I've found it to be the opposite. From my experience there are far more corner camping losers on PS4 than there are in Xbox.
I have much worse matches with crossplay on coz PS4 teammates are not moving or sitting in spawn all match and causing us to be spawn trapped, thus losing us the match

Probably the most jarring realization is this seems to have been happening as early as June of last year and, at least for me, hit out of nowhere. I was able to enjoy my router's freedom to tinker and extended 5 GHz range in my home for just a little over a month. Now? Somehow setting a static IP dropped my speeds to 1/10th of my paid-for speeds (1/8th of actual output) both down and up, intermittent dropouts, and awful gaming sessions.
For example, on the XR500, it takes 4+ attempts to connect to friends in Borderlands 3, and sometimes only by restarting the game and accepting a Steam invite directly, or having to use the Discord integrated invites. On my Verizon gateway, I can join in-game - consistently.
For Destiny 2, the past couple of days, before my character selection screen even came up, I got hit with "ATTENTION: Contacting Destiny 2 servers" - this would continue on for the next 5 minutes straight until I'd get kicked back with some sort of infamous Bungie animal error code. One dropout was particularly bad enough to send me back to the main menu, then while in the main menu, get hit with another network error. Also no longer a problem back on the gateway.
Like I said, I really want to enjoy and just even USE my XR500 but I guess I should've paid closer attention to the negative reviews?
